Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park formed the centrepiece of the inspirational London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It is now providing jobs, attracting investment and helping improve sports facilities and housing in east London, as well as becoming a major visitor attraction. The Park is free to visit every day of the week! It’s home to the London Stadium, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the London Aquat

ics Centre, the Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley VeloPark and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre – as well as parklands, waterways, playgrounds and cafes. There’s always something new to explore – so come along and experience sports, events and iconic venues, or just relax and take in the views. This feed is monitored in UK office hours: 9-5, Monday to Friday.

Part of the first live weekend of The Music Is Black Festival from East Bank, BASSTONE Playground, a playful, music-filled space designed for families to explore together 🎶✨

Created by artist Linett Kamala, thsi is a mix of sound, light and movement, with:

- Hidden speakers playing chilled beats
- Interactive sound and light installations
- A one-of-a-kind LED Maypole at the centre
- Spaces to play and spaces to relax
