🚨 England boss Thomas Tuchel has issued an update on Bukayo Saka's fitness.

He said: "Well it's another big competition that we have on the other wing between Noni Madueke and Saka.

"The beautiful thing is they do it at Arsenal and they do it with a lot of respect for each other.

"The way they're pushing in training, it's just a pleasure to see.

"Bukayo is getting better & better, he feels no more pain.

"He was able to do both of our training sessions in the last few days."

🚨🇬🇭 Thomas Partey claims missing Ghana's World Cup opener against Panama due to ongoing criminal proceedings in the UK is "just part of football."

The former Arsenal midfielder was denied entry into Canada after wrongly telling officials he had never been arrested or charged with a crime while filling out his visa application.

He appealed the decision but last week in an Ottawa courtroom, judge Justice Roger Lafrenière refused to override the initial call made by immigration officials.

The 33-year-old is due to stand trial next year after pleading not guilty to seven charges of r**e and one count of sexual assault between 2020 and 2022.

Speaking ahead of facing England, Partey said: "Well I think it's part of football, things happen in football that you cannot control.

"For me now, I feel ready to play. I'm okay, I'm feeling good.

"We've been training good and everybody is ready, we are here to try our best and compete with the rest of the teams and I think preparation is key."

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Arsenal winger Noni Madueke says he's hungry for more after making his World Cup debut with England.

He said: "First of all you thank God, it’s a blessing,” the Arsenal winger admitted.

"And then I think it's important not to deep it too much, you just go out and do your stuff, do your bits that got you here in the first place. Treat it like another game.

"We’ve played loads of big games, a lot of games of magnitude in my career so I treated it like one of those games and went out and tried to do my stuff, help my team."

🚨 Declan Rice has been speaking about his neural hamstring issue which he’s been managing SINCE Christmas… 🤯

He told ITV after being substituted for England vs Croatia due to discomfort: “I’m ready and fit, raring to go.

“I was feeling a little bit of neural pain in my hamstring, which I was managing from after Christmas with Arsenal for a very long time. Obviously, not a lot of people would have known that. It was all behind-the-scenes stuff but it was a smart decision.

“In the end, that last 20 minutes is probably where you pick up the most, and it’s where you play a 70-minute match. But that last 20 is where you really feel your body going for it. And I think it was a smart decision because the last few days I felt really, really good.”

🇯🇵 Former Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu was expected to miss the World Cup after undergoing two operations on his knee.

But he rallied back after being released by the Gunners in July 2025.

He signed for Ajax on a free transfer in January & only made nine Eredivisie appearances, making the Japan squad by the skin of his teeth.

Last night he started & played 79 minutes for Japan in their 4-0 win over Tunisia in Monterrey. 👏

🚨 Arsenal defender William Saliba admits he's been playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks due to a back problem.

He said ahead of France vs Iraq: "I've had some minor niggles for several months. I've been gritting my teeth because there was the Champions League and the Premier League. But the coaching staff are handling it very well.

"The World Cup comes round only once every four years, so you've got to grit your teeth.

"I'm not at 100 percent, but there are plenty of players who aren't at 100 percent either, you cannot make excuses."
