Tuesday October 13th: Etive (subject to water, but triple step is likely to always be running)
Wednesday October 14th: Morriston (Dam Release)
Thursday October 15th: Garry (Dam Release)
Friday October 16th: Spean Gorge (Always running)
Saturday October 17th: Orchy (Weather dependent, an absolute classic)
Sunday October 18th: Return Home

Join us for a weekend of white water coaching with White Water legend Heidi Walsh! September 18th & 19th at the Tryweryn.

Who’s Heidi?!?

Only one of the kayaking world's most renowned white water kayakers! With a resume that’s hard to beat, in just the past few months Heidi has run a 100ft waterfall at Ram falls, competed and finished 4th at the North Fork Championships and has been a GB Freestyle team athlete for over a decade. A team Pyranha paddler and all round top tier human, it's safe to say Heidi knows a thing or two about kayaking and maximising fun!

For this weekend we intend to paddle the Tryweryn and focus on developing skills for more advanced White Water.

We teamed up with for an overnight Canoe and wild camp expedition, exploring Pembrokeshire.

Stunning views, great company, sunshine, exploring ruins and clocking up the miles. 🛶

What a fantastic day!

Thanks to all our fabulous coaches who volunteered for the day and worked above and beyond. We put over 100 participants on the water, many for the first time, Including someone's first ever swim!

And thanks to all the team at Brentford Community Boat House.

This Thursday, Shahid Wahab and Mike Shaw will be running the second session in the London Parks White Water Safety Series.

Recommended to anyone looking to refresh their white water safety skills or learn new skills. No prior experience is needed.

Sessions take place in St James's Park and are only £8 per person!

In Thursday's session, the focus is on using mechanical advantage and rescuing pinned craft.

Join London Kayak School on the "London Parks White Water Safety series".

Coaches Mike Shaw and Shahid Wahab will be running an evening of dryland white water safety skills in Kensington Gardens followed by a visit to the local pub. A chance to meet local like minded white water enthusiasts!

Session 1: Throwbags and Anchors. (Thursday 14th May)

Session 2: Mechanical Advantage and Pin Kits. (Thursday 18th June)

Session 3: Foot Entrapments and Incident Management. (Thursday 9th July)

Location: Kensington Gardens
Time: 19.00-20.00 (optional to join us for a social after)

No prior experience is needed! You just need to bring yourself, some friends and a throwbag if you have one!

Our WW Progression Weekends are the perfect way to get your first taste of real white water!

We’ll be running a beginner white water weekend on the 18/19th of April alongside our usual trip.

It'll run on the Dee (levels dependent) and will link up with the other group for dinner and anyone who isn’t confident joining the usual group can get a taste of what these weekends are all about (fun, building confidence, improving skills and getting out on the river together)

If you’ve been down a white water course, you can do a wet exit/capsize drill and you’re keen to learn more, this is for you! No need for a solid roll.
