Wherever you are on your English communication journey, I want you to start working with the English you have or havenโ€™t been using.

You may feel that you havenโ€™t spoken in a long time so it won't be good enough or you donโ€™t have opportunities to practise with anyone but I want you to think outside the box now! Itโ€™s time to think creatively and forge those opportunities for yourself! I have a wonderful student who started her own English-speaking group with friends and another who regularly attends language exchange events to practice and make new friends.

It all starts in your beautiful mind. Here's how:

๐Ÿš€ Accept where you are on your unique journey: Language has no destination! Itโ€™s a very fluid process with lots of ups and downs like a roller-coaster.

๐ŸŒŸ Use positive self-talk and focus on your progress: You've come a long way so remind yourself of this and the effort youโ€™ve already put in over the past few years

๐ŸŽ‰ Celebrate small victories: From running your international webinar (well done to my amazing student!) to speaking up in that meeting you've been avoiding.

๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ Be patient and kind to yourself: Learning a new language is challenging but rewarding.
