👑 THE KING RETURNS. BUT CAN ANYONE STOP HIM?

Two consecutive Top Flight Series titles. A third firmly in his sights. Omar Ahmed has ruled the roads, but the chasing pack are coming for his crown. ⚔️

This Sunday, the Top Flight Series heads to Jarrow for Stage 11, and King Omar returns to familiar territory, a course where he holds the 29:15 record.

But standing in his way are some familiar faces. 👀

🔥 Rich Allen — twice beaten by Ahmed in the series this year. Third time lucky?

🔥 Joe Niven — another looking to reverse the result from Altrincham.

🔥 Raif Serif — with unfinished business after their meeting at Fulham last year.

The history favours the King. But history doesn’t win races.

Repeat or revenge? Can anyone finally dethrone Omar Ahmed? 👑

🔥 WIDE OPEN IN JARROW! WHO TAKES THE CROWN? 👑

Two Olympians. A proven road specialist. A stacked women’s field. And maximum points up for grabs!

The women’s race at Stage 11 of the Top Flight Series is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing contests of the weekend! 👀

🇬🇧 ROSE HARVEY – The British Olympic marathoner brings serious endurance and strength to the streets of Jarrow.

🇨🇦 GABRIELA DEBUES-STAFFORD – The Canadian Olympian, renowned for her exploits over 1500m and 5000m, brings world class speed into unfamiliar territory over the road 10K.

🇮🇪 EMILY HAGGARD-KEARNEY – An established 5K/10K performer who has every reason to fancy her chances against the two Olympians.

But this is far from a three woman race! 💥

Megan Stenhouse, Rachel Brown and Ava Ledbitter are among those adding serious depth to a competitive women’s field.

🏆 AND THERE’S MORE THAN JUST A RACE WIN AT STAKE!

With three fixtures remaining, the women’s Top Flight Series title is still WIDE OPEN. Every position, every point and every performance could prove decisive in the battle for the 2026 crown.

So, will it be Harvey’s endurance, DeBues-Stafford’s speed or Haggard-Kearney’s 10K pedigree that comes out on top? Or could someone else steal the show? 👀

🚨 SIFAN HASSAN OUT OF NEW YORK CITY MARATHON! 💔

Another setback for the Olympic champion, who has confirmed her withdrawal from the 2026 New York City Marathon following an illness that disrupted her training.

Hassan has endured a frustrating 2026, having already missed the London Marathon earlier this year after suffering an Achilles injury.

The Dutch superstar has not raced since November 2025, with her eagerly anticipated return to marathon racing now put on hold once again.

🗣️ “I was so excited to come back stronger, but a sickness slowed down my training and I’m not where I wanted to be.”

A disappointing end to what has been a difficult year for one of distance running’s biggest names.

🇳🇱 When will we see Sifan Hassan back on the start line?

🚨 END OF AN ERA FOR SARAH HEALY! 🇮🇪

Irish middle-distance star Sarah Healy is set to leave the Manchester based M11 Track Club after four years under coaches Trevor Painter and Jenny Meadows.

Having joined the group in November 2022, Healy has trained alongside the likes of Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell, enjoying considerable success, including European Indoor 3000m gold in 2025. 🥇

However, following a challenging 2026 season disrupted by injury, the 25-year-old has decided it’s time for a fresh chapter.

Despite her frustrations, Healy finished fourth in the 5000m at the European Championships in Birmingham, before finishing fifth over 1500m.

Her next training destination remains undecided, although she is expected to stay in the UK.

With the defence of her European Indoor 3000m title in March 2027, the World Championships in Beijing and LA 2028 on the horizon, it’s an intriguing time for the Irish star.

👀 Where would you like to see Healy head next?
