Transforming fear into courage...
Today, on her birthday, I celebrate this wonderful soul and teacher who I had the pleasure of training over a decade ago. She wrote this beautiful message last year and exactly one month ago, she left us. She was courage, she is courage, she is a teacher to us all. I feel beyond blessed to have had the pleasure of guiding such a talented soul to become one of the most inspiring teachers I have ever met. We love you. We miss you. You are here with us all the time, guiding us with every step in being courageous and not letting fear guide our lives.

During my shoulder recovery, I rediscovered the power of the stick.
Here is a little sequence that I created myself to work at 360 degrees, my deep front line, my superficial line, my spiral line, my lateral line and using the rest of my body to support the length of my lovely shoulder.  Of course the wrists, elbows and upper core stability are paramount.  If you want to explore more of this mobility in action with resistance work, I fully recommend you to join these classes.

And in less than 2 weeks, a wonderful new course called The Functional Me will be starting which I will be offering with Rowena Karaman from Dubai who is one of my best friends in life and one of the most amazing teachers I have ever trained.  In the meantime enjoy the exploration, enjoy the creativity, enjoy the freedom of movement.

We are delighted to announce our new, advanced, modular teacher training course with Teach Yoga Founder, Elena Voyce Phd, and University Professor Camille Litalien. Taking place through a blend of live-online training and recordings, this course provides maximum flexibility and can be taken from anywhere in the world.

Since 2001, we have helped over 750 people to turn their passion into their career and allow their true potential to unfold. In 2001, Camille Litalien joined Elena’s team of teachers for the first advanced teacher training and is very excited to come back 20 years later to continue to share her passion and expertise with Teach Yoga.

The course is open to qualified teachers who hold either the Yoga Alliance 200 Hour certificate or The British Wheel of Yoga Accredited Teaching Qualification.

We FEEL , therefore we think therefore we are
Feel to Heal has always been our motto.

Science has accepted that signals from the gut can reach different parts of the brain, determine your behaviour and create particular copying strategies .

Also did you know that a painful shoulder can be related to an inflamed gut ?

There are so many examples in language that show the connection between the gut, thoughts and emotions;

Guilty Feeling or Gut Feeling?

Why don’t we stop making ourselves feel guilty for what we do, how we think, how we eat, how much movement we do. How about becoming gut aware instead rather than gut conscious? In IBS and chronic gut pain patients, the interroceptive signals or ‘gut feelings’ are shown to be distorted by stressed and negative emotions. During the course of this unique, four day training, we will delve into, depict and connect the stages in which the homeostasis of your internal body becomes unbalanced.

We will explore the difference between proprioception and interoception – as our ability to read our internal landscape and to feel something viscerally, and take a look a the latest research into digestive disorders and emotional imbalances including how anxiety and depression often occur with digestive imbalance and how people with IBS and most likely, any chronic gut pain also show altered visceral interoception.

Join Elena Voyce for the most innovative, unique professional training of this kind. For many years, Elena has been at the forefront of research and training for cultivating a balanced digestive system which has been featured in publications such as Top Sante Magazine.
After the incredible success of her introductory journey to the gut and the practices you should connect with when suffering from a series of gut issues, Elena has created a wonderful 4 day intensive therapeutic training that works for everyone:
For yoga teachers, Pilates Teachers, Personal Trainers, or practitioners who first of all, intend to help themselves to understand how the digestive system works, what the microbiome is, how emotions affect the digestive system and how trauma can create long term digestive issues. You will learn 8, 90 minute practices; 4 that support the major conditions of: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Leaky gut Syndrome together with metabolic disorders and CNS related disorders.
4 practices will also support imbalances of chronic constipation, nausea, diarrhoea and heart burn.
An extensive time will be dedicated to the balance of the vagus nerve through the breath and emotional reconnection. A closer look will be placed on conditions that arise from an unbalanced gut such as stress , anxiety, depression, PTSD.
