3 Hard Balance Exercises

If you have tried the exercises from the last 2 videos, it's time to give the final level a go!

1. Supermans on unstable surface Sets:2-3 Reps: 10-12 per side

2. Ski Jumps Sets: 2-3 Time: 30-45 seconds

3. Bird dogs (feet raised) Sets: 2-3 Reps: 14-16

The best trick for Straight Leg Deadlifts!

Key points:
1. Feet hip width apart
2. Keep a soft bend in both knees
3. Hug the plate TIGHT to chest with shoulder blades squeezed together.
4. Keep core engaged
5. Push your hips back as your drop your chest forward.

Give it a go and watch your straight leg deadlift form improve!

Exercising regularly is one of the best ways to stay healthy. It can feel like a dauntinf task to exercise multiple times a week for the rest of your life....

Turning exercise almost into an unconcious thought. ( Every Friday at 9am I know I am training at the gym), a habit, is one of the best ways to make this happen!

Hello and welcome to my page Liv Confident, my name is Olivia or Liv for short 👋.

My ultimate goal as a Personal Trainer is to enable and empower people to feel strong, mobile and confident in their own bodies. With 8 years of professional experience in England and Germany, a BSc in Sports Coaching and further specialisation in personal training for people with Parkinson’s, I am a strong advocate for how life changing and beneficial exercise can be.
They say find a job you enjoy doing and you will never work a day in your life; I have found that in personal training and can't wait to bring the joy of exercise and its benefits to more people.

So follow along for exercises targeted at prolonging strength , mobility and indepence for those with Parkinsons and to see just how much you can achieve from your own home!

Mein Name ist Olivia, oder kurz: Liv.

Mein oberstes Ziel als Personal Trainerin ist es, Menschen zu befähigen und zu bestärken, sich stark, beweglich und selbstbewusst in ihrem eigenen Körper zu fühlen. First client spot light! 🎉
Meet Jonathan, 70.
Jonathan has been my client now for over 4 years! He works incedibly hard in and outside of our sessions, using exercise as a tool to push back against Parkinson's Disease.
He is an amazing advocate for the importance of exercise and putting many people half his age to shame 💪.

Our focus points for this session were:
- Thoracic and shoulder strength/mobility.
- Balance
- Toe push off/calf strength

Outside of our two sessions a week Jonathan also:
Attends Spin classes twice a week
Yoga once to twice a week
Sports massage once a week.

Today's Body Toning class at super speed! 🏃‍♀️
All you need for this class is a chair, tins and a cushion or mat, and 45 minutes of your time. Unfortunately I can't speed it up like the video.
Every 4-5 weeks the class exercises get changed, so you can see yourself progress just before facing a new challenge. Today was day one of new exercises, special well done to my lovely participant's who made it through a tough workout!

This class is every Wednesday at 11-11:45am. To join in just drop me a message. 👐
