No one session is ever same and every step of the way, you'll be driven by a passionate trainer using the latest science. Roni’s mission was to create a training environment far from the crowded commercial gym environment. As a result, the Bodi by Roni studio exclusively uses handcrafted, sustainable equipment made from vegan leather and walnut wood, powered by water technology rather than electricity. The studio itself is a converted dairy with high ceilings, a minimalist style and plenty of natural light and fresh air. The space is designed to ensure that clients feel comfortable, relaxed, energised and inspired. YESTERDAY you said TOMORROW! Postponing won't get you stronger and fitter; it will only reduce your motivation and confidence. Each time you tell yourself you're going to do something and don't do it, you are getting farther away from it. Training with a personal trainer can make it easier to START and COMMIT. Trust me, I had a personal trainer for years, and it helped me so much. 🏃🏻‍♀️ Training tip of the week 🏃🏻‍♂️

Preparing for a workout goes beyond packing your trainers and gym wear into a bag. What you eat throughout the day has a huge impact on your endurance, energy levels, and results - both short-term and long-term.

3 things you can do to optimise your workout:

1) Eat slow-releasing carbs for breakfast and lunch. This lowers insulin levels and helps burn more fat during exercise

2) Avoid heavy, high fat foods at least 3 hours before a workout. This can lead to fatigue and constricted blood flow to muscles

3) Keep hydrated throughout the day and especially during your workout to avoid muscle cramps, dizziness and nausea

🏃🏻‍♀️ Training tip of the week 🏃🏻‍♂️

Time to dispel the 'no pain, no gain' myth! At Bodi by Roni, we want you to enjoy your sessions inside the studio as well as enjoy the results outside the studio.

A little discomfort whilst training is expected, but at no point should you experience actual pain. Here are 4 things you can do to prevent joint pain after working out:

1) make sure you warm up before and stretch out after
2) use a foam roller on tight or brittle fascia
3) eat more anti-inflammatory foods
4) apply heat to stiff areas prior to working out

I'm Roni, the founder of Bodi by Roni and the proud owner of Shoreditch's best luxury studio, hidden in the heart of Spitalfields. I begun my fitness journey competing nationally as a rhythmic gymnast and gained my Personal Trainer qualification in 2019.

My mission is to encourage you to commit to a fitness journey, support your growth and show you the tools and habits that will help you to look and feel your very best.
