Three minutes on stage. Twelve years of thinking. One question I wanted to leave them with.
Last week at Ideas Fest, I had 180 seconds.
I've designed and delivered year long programs, two-week long programmes, five-day intensives, one-day workshops, three-hour masterclasses, 60-minute keynotes and a 17-minute TEDx.
And now 3 minutes. At this rate my next booking is a haiku.
Three minutes is definitely not a smaller version of sixty. It's a different animal entirely. It's somewhere I hadn't been before.
Into the unknown I went!
Which, funnily enough, is the whole Possiblist™ point.
Growth isn't more strategies, more credentials, more certainty. We've all tried that. It's tiring. Tapping into the expansiveness within is where we grow.
Uncertainty isn't the enemy. Certainty is. Uncertainty creates a doorway to fresh possibilities. And the handle has been on our side the whole time.
So the invitation I left with the audience was simple.
Peek around the corner of certainty. Ask, am I open to the possibility I might see something new. Then wonder. Out loud, in your head, on the walk home. I wonder what I'll see.
With curiosity, not confidence.
With courage, not comfort.
With compassion, not criticism.
