The 2nd of November 2022 marks World Ballet Day, a global celebration that brings together over 50 of the world's leading ballet and dance companies for a packed day of dance.

Over the course of the day, rehearsals, discussions and classes are streamed for free across six continents, offering unique behind-the-scenes glimpses of ballet’s biggest stars and upcoming performers.

Show announced for Kids Week 2022!
This year we have over 45 shows participating in our annual Kids Go Free promotion.

Remember - tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 14 June. Some shows will have limited availability so we suggest you have several options in mind when booking. With so many different productions on board there really is plenty to choose from and something for all children to enjoy!

Yesterday we bid farewell to Durning Hall. After 36 years East London School of Dance will be moving location to Buxton School. Thank you to everyone who came along yesterday, it was lovely to see pupils past and present and their families. And thank you for all of Helena’s lovely flowers, I think she’ll be able to open up her own florist!!

Our grade 6/7 ballet girls couldn’t resist recreating this iconic photo that I’m sure they would have done when they first started many years ago!
