On the first Zuffa boxing show in England it was Scottish talent Hickey who stole the show. In a battle of unbeaten prospects in Bournemouth he knocked out his opponent, Todd Thompkins, cold.

On a Probox show in Arlington, Texas it was Malachi Ross who made a statement with his first round knockout against Derrick Whitley.

Cuban prospect Javier Herrera Garcia impressed the fans in Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico with a KO win over Jaimes Leonides. Javier Herrera Garcia the brother of the current WBC lightweight interim champion and looks to be on track to prove that his brother isn’t the only champ in the family.

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. was one of the biggest combat sports events ever.

The 2017 fight was a crossover spectacle between MMA’s biggest star and boxing’s greatest active champion. The buildup was chaotic, featuring world tours, nonstop trash talk, and sold-out press conferences.

Inside the ring, Conor started aggressively and had some early success, but Floyd stayed patient. As the fight went on, Mayweather’s boxing experience, defense, and conditioning took over.

Simiso Buthelezi was involved in one of boxing’s most heartbreaking tragedies.

In the final round of his June 2022 fight against Siphesihle Mntungwa, Buthelezi suddenly became disoriented and began punching at an empty corner of the ring. The referee immediately stopped the fight.

Doctors later discovered a severe brain hemorrhage. Buthelezi was placed in a medically induced coma but passed away two days later at just 24 years old.

The footage remains one of the most haunting reminders of the dangers of boxing and brain trauma.
