Our Redhill gym has recently had a makeover🎉

Did you know our crew’s kit bags weigh between 15-17kg?

As we’re the only HEMS team to have an annual fitness test for all operational staff, it’s really important for us to have a space that has the proper equipment for our crews to remain fit and healthy ❤️

Thank you so much to Mark from Revival Systems who kindly donated and discounted some updated equipment for our operational staff to use. Your support helps our lifesaving crews be at their best when people need them most 🚁

Re configuration of

Mark and the team were wanting to make more of an open plan space for their SGPT classes

They opted for removal of the track and re locating the power racks and cable racks

The removal of any track means most of the time one side of the flooring will have to be completely relayed this is due to the tracks having a certain tolerance and not being exactly to size leaving a horrid gap or of cut of tile in the gym if not done properly

The end result was a success a more free flowing space

A complete home gym conversion carried out for

We started by clearing the garage,

Building a stud wall with insulation to block off the old garage door to make the space look more like a gym, more secure and on the winter month a little bit warmer !!

then came in and painted the whole space to give it a much brighter look

Following on from this the lighting was changed by .meaney from the old style tube lighting to led baton lights again to give it a fresher newer look

We then finished of the project with flooring / cables / squat rack in pink ❤️ / running machine / Dumbells / kettlebells & sandbags with more kit to follow in the coming months I’m sure !!

Simple but effective!!

The brief from was a wall mounted rack with the purpose of CrossFit in mind

Our standard shorty rack was going to be the one so we used a standard sized rack with some extras :

rig mounted plate storage
Dip horn
Landmine
Safety spotter arms

A recent install for

Opening their second location in Kent they were lucky enough to have a rig & flooring in place already from previous owners

We updated the plate storage system in the rig area to make it more organised

We then removed all the old un loved equipment and installed

New Concept 2 ergs
New plates / Dumbells / barbells / kettlebells
New storage systems and many others items of equipment

The guys are now open !! Drop them a follow a dm to find out more

with spring starting to show its face and the facility being on the grounds of the space for outdoor training in the summer is going to be 🔥

with an outdoor rig and astroturf in place ready to use !!

studio update

Hannah was wanting to update her studio space

we had been to Hannah’s before to install a cable machine / ski / bike etc with the gym filling up with kit and clients every SQM was a priority

The best bang for your buck in a space like this is to have a wall mounted rig but with short wall connecting arms

in a large commercial space saving 1/1.5Sqm is nothing but in a studio of 10SQM it’s over 10%

You have to have a eye for storage / functionality and space

As most people I think Hannah at first was not positive it would save much space like plenty of others in the past and many more but like others before her she trusted me 😃

The end results exactly what I had envisioned more space more kit mission accomplished

We lastly then supplied the turf for outside that fitted like a glove ! 10m long x 1m wide

recently had a big update with them becoming a .fit facility they decided to upgrade some of the flooring and install a two bay wall mounted rig

this gave the coaches a lot more variety for the classes and personal training clients

A really unique setting based on a working farm in Bradford upon Avon

We returned to to make some changed so it’s easier for the coaches to coach in the classes with more space

We installed our own revival 720 power racks with 1800mm connecting pull up bars giving you the option of multi grip bars and standard straight bars

Really happy with how they looked once installed

A great weekend in for the marathon was great to see everyone cross the finish line 12/12

Time to get back in the gym and top up some strength numbers before we go deep into another marathon block 🏃‍♂️

A recent installation of our gym flooring to the new gym on the block in

We installed 20mm EPDM rubber gym matting in the class space with a 8m x 2m sled track as the centre piece of the room

We then installed our 40mm EPDM white fleck matting with edging trim in the db area in main gym

These guys have created a great space with 3 separate rooms

Room 1 Pilates studio

Room 2 main gym area

Room 3 class area / functional fitness space
