Ironsides Rugby 2,3 Ironsides Rugby is a friendly, ambitious community Rugby club for men, women and children aged 4 to 18, based in South London.

Whether you’re a seasoned Veteran, or a parent with children new to the game, all are welcome at Ironsides. We now have one of the largest combined (Mini, Youth and Senior) Rugby club memberships in London. We have 5 Senior Men's XV's, 2 Ladies' XVs, an U21 XV, a Vets XV and a Supervets Team at senior level. Our Youth section caters for Boys and Girls from under 13 to under 18 age groups. Our vibr

ant Mini Rugby section provides an inclusive and fun introduction to rugby for boys and girls from age 4 to 11. Ours Men's 1st XV have achieved an impressive three promotions in five years and having won their League in 2019-20 are now in the London 1 South League. Our Ladies' 1st XV and Men's 2nd XV and 4th XV also won their leagues in 2019-20. We are current Guinness World Record holders for the largest Rugby Tour ever (our 2019 Minis Tour to Minehead). We were awarded the Active Wandsworth Sports Club of the Year 2019 and have been shortlisted for the Gallagher Rugby Rugby Club of the Season 2019-20. We are always looking for new players of all levels. 🏉 Sunday 14th September is the Girls' Takeover Day at Ironsides!

🌹 A celebration of women’s and girls rugby at the club in our home World Cup year.

😀 Fun rugby tasters, games and activities all day - finished off with the Red Roses Quarter Final at the club house.

👧 Spread the word and bring your daughters, sisters, cousins, friends and classmates along to give rugby a go and join this wonderful community!

10.45am - 11.45am Mini Girls' Rugby Taster session
12.00pm - 2.00pm Girls Youth Training

**meet at 2.45pm at the scout hut on Garratt Green**

❤️This is a fantastic tradition where our Minis wave the Senior team out onto the pitch, with the 2,3 Ironsides chant!

🤍They see where their Sunday training can lead, as the 'big boys' run on to the pitch in the same Ironsides Club colours as theirs!
