With great sadness, Global FC is no longer competing and has officially shut down.
After so many years, a lack of new players coming through, a number of players retiring, and unfortunately without the support we needed from the FA, we simply couldn’t continue to sustain the football infrastructure financially.
But what a journey it has been.
It’s been so much fun playing great football, sharing some incredible moments and, most importantly, making lifelong friends along the way.
I guess everything must come to an end, and sadly, this is the end for Global FC.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the club, past and present. You’ve all played a part in making it what it was.
All the best to every one of our players in whatever comes next and in your continued footballing adventures.
