⚡️OFFICIAL DONATION HANDOVER⚡️

Some of the lads attending the official donation handover with Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity, after our fundraising efforts in support of Mags who used to be a student at UoB.

Mags was diagnosed with having a brain tumour and has been undergoing intensive treatment alongside surgeries. She is an incredibly strong individual and because she made such a positive impact on our university, in particular the sports, we really wanted to support her by fundraising for a related charity.

Storm helped to raise money through a waxing event, alongside other sports that conducted their own events within RAG week. In total, we all raised over £850 which we gave to Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity today!

Storm vs Newcastle

#1 Isaac Armitage
Not only scoring 2 trys, but he consistently put his all into the sprint in pursuit of a try. He was moving fast and kept going until he was over the line or pulled down. A reliable player and outstanding personal result for him.

#2 Jackson Bonney
Newbie, Jackson, made his debut and was the powerhouse that just kept on going. Even when he was tackled he kept on pushing and pushing, often taking a while and many of Newcastles players to get him down.

Well done and keep it up.

#3 Rhys Garside

Made some fantastic tackles and runs, which fed into others scoring trys. He wasn’t afraid to throw his all into a tackle which really benefitted the team.

A fantastic win from the lads. Let’s see that second half energy at Varsity. Up the Storm 🏉⚡️
