CURLING CENTRAL CLUB OF LEGENDS

Every year, Curling Central pays recognition to a select group of players, coaches, and builders in Curling.

The second inductee in the Class of 2026

We head to Scotland to find our next inductee. Representing the birthplace of Curling, she won two World Junior Curling Championship titles in 2009 and 2011, six Scottish Women's Curling Championship titles, both of them three-peats (2011-2013 and 2015-2017). She saw the podium of the European Curling Championships in all eight of her appearances, including titles in 2011 and 2017, plus four Silver and two Bronze Medals. We won the 2013 World Championship with skip (and fellow inductee) Eve Muirhead in 2017, and took a Bronze in 2017, and an Olympic Bronze Medal from 2014, in her Olympic debut. On top of that, five Grand Slam of Curling title wins between 2013-2015, all of these at Third. Add to that . Gold from the 2011 Winter Universiade and Gold at the 2009 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival as a Skip.

We're proud to have launched our new Community Sports Fund to help youth sports teams across Cumbria and Dumfries & Galloway purchase new kits.

Grassroots sport plays a huge role in bringing communities together, building confidence and encouraging young people to stay active, and we're delighted to be supporting this.

Youth sports teams (Under 16s level and under) can apply for up to £500, with all sports eligible for funding.

We are delighted to share the news of an additional £574,000 invested into curling in Scotland over the next 3 years! 😀🥌

Scottish Curling CEO Vincent Bryson said

"Thanks to the work of our committed ice rinks and colleagues on the SC staff team we are over the moon to share the news of this additional investment with around £300,000 going directly to ice rinks over the next 3 years"
