‼️Important message sent out tonight to everyone! Just incase anyone misses it 💜

Hi everyone, it’s Jen from Pulse. Sending a message with an update regarding the show.

After a lot of thought and consideration, I have made the decision to delay our show in May. This is due to a number of factors such as:

1) Classes being cancelled because of unforeseen circumstances such as illness or events on with the school.

2) Attendance being very low in the run up to the show which has required a lot of repetition and catch up required during rehearsals.

3) Communication being delayed with the new venue resulting in delay in information being relayed to dance parents.

4) A number of children are unable to attend the show due to the date chosen.

Overall, I feel that if we go ahead the children will not feel as prepared as they could be to put on their very best show and I would never want anyone not to feel confident on the stage or feel worried or concerned due to shortage in rehearsals as the dance school’s values are all about building our dancers up in confidence!

Please understand that this decision was not made lightly and I also have to consider my own health being so late on in my pregnancy. I hope everyone can understand my reasoning.

The efforts of all the dancers have not gone unnoticed and we will use the dances we have learned to make our Christmas show even bigger and better.

Please note: Thursday 23rd April classes are cancelled due to the school disco and with the delay in the show , we will no longer be holding the Friday 24th rehearsal in Saltcoats.

Classes are back as normal on Thursday 30th April and Thursday 7th May (this will be our last class before we break off for the summer).

I have all dance uniform orders ready for collection when we are back at class. I will send out communication regarding return before we break off.

Could everyone please check your tan coloured jazz shoes as there has been a mix up with one of the junior’s shoes. The mixed up shoe should have a name on them.

Please note the change in ages due to early moving up to support class sizes.

Minis (Preschool - P1) - 4.15-5pm
Juniors (P2-P5) 5-6pm
Seniors (P6+) 6-7pm

So proud of each and every one of my dancers tonight! You’ve all worked so hard and put on a great performance for your audience tonight. Important Information ‼️
Show Information:

⭐ Our Christmas showcase will be on Thursday 18th December. This is not a ticketed event. It will be pay on entry and this will be CASH ONLY. It will be £5 per adult and £3 for children (3 years- 12 years) children under 3 years go free. Due to space could I please limit it to no more than 4 audience members per child 💜

⭐ The show will begin at 5.30pm and doors open for EVERYONE at 5.15pm. There will be no classes before this time. The show will last approximately an hour in total 💜

⭐ Dancers can wear their Christmas jumpers/ Dance Jumpers and black bottoms (leggings or joggers). Please ensure that you are wearing appropriate footwear (dance shoes preferred).

⭐ We will have a bottle stall to help raise funds for the dance school and this will be through a raffle at the door. (£1 a strip).

Class reminder:

This Thursday (4th) is wear your PJs to dancing! These could be Christmas or just your normal ones. Similar to last year, if you could bring a bottle for our bottle stall at the show it would be greatly appreciated. Money raised from the bottle stall goes towards our dance fund to support the cost of hall hires and costumes for the show 💜

Show Information:
