I think I need this coat. It's got my name written all over it! Another Harris Tweed.
During my time here in Scotland, I've gotten to know so many people, began to understand the culture, the things they have pride in, and what the Scottish people are like.
I am definitely coming back. Next year, perhaps on the other side of the country, north, up near Aberdeen.
They are so kind, so friendly, and so grateful you're here visiting. There is pride in the things that they make, in their food, their values, their fierce fighting for freedom, and above all, the land.
It is wild, free, and clean. Lakes, forests, hills and mountains. Boats abound. Steak, cocktails and bagpipes. The kids are happy and balanced.
Not too many places in the world you can say so many good things about, but this one is one of my favorites.
I'll be off in a matter of days, and I haven't done nearly enough to see the country. But my creativity has exploded and there are multiple projects in process.
This coat will have to wait until next year too, as my bags are full!
There is always next summer. 🏴
