Wow what can we say! Yesterday at club saw the annual Jackie Adams memorial mixed rink day take place with teams from Lochgelly, Kelty, Leslie, Lumphinnans all taking part! An absolutely amazing day from start to finish which saw 12 teams competing against each other for the trophy! After the group stage it came down to the last four which saw Lochgelly v Leslie and Lochgelly v Kelty in the semi final! Some great bowls were then played again which meant Kelty would take on Leslie in the final. A final fit for any tournament saw Kelty take the honours and for the first time win the trophy! Congratulations Lorraine, Marion, Jimmy and Bobby!
The players were treated to an amazing buffet on the day thanks to Chris who provided this on the day! Outstanding and went down amazingly well with everyone in the club!
Gordon Wilson then came to serenade the crowd who again was on brilliant form and again everyone in attendance loved the performance that was given, to see the night out we finished off with Alisons karaoke which let those left get a few songs of their choice out there for all to hear!
To the bar staff who worked tirelessly all day and night a huge thank you in keeping everyone hydrated all day!
Finally to all of Jackies family, thank you again for everything that comes with the Jackie Adams day! Without you this day would not be possible and make it what it has become year after year! You continue to make her proud and one things for sure her memory will live long and no one will ever forget her!
