Another one staying at The Ring.

JJ King commits for the 2026/27 season. A player who brings energy, quality and plenty of drive whenever he pulls on the black and white.

Ellis was one of the first names on the teamsheet last year, putting in consistent performances throughout the campaign and proving his worth time and time again in the big games.

Next up to commit for the 2026/27 season is Lewis Fearns.

A real livewire on the pitch, Fearnsy impressed throughout last season with his energy, work rate and eye for goal. Always capable of producing a moment of quality, he’s another important piece of the squad heading into the new campaign.

There’s plenty more to come from Lewis this season.

We’re delighted to confirm that Scotty Swords has committed for the 2026/27 season.

A midfielder with quality, intelligence and an eye for the big moment, Scotty’s influence goes far beyond goals and assists. His work rate, experience and ability to make things happen make him a huge asset to the group.

We’re pleased to have him back at The Ring for another season.

With over 200 First Team appearances to his name, Dean’s influence on this squad cannot be overstated. A model of consistency, commitment and quality throughout his time at The Welly.
Some players sign contracts.
Dean practically has his own parking space.

The welly u5s hosted Brymbo lodge today with a morning packed with fun and goals!

The boys really put together the stuff we have been doing in training today, it all seemed to click. Alex Gilligan and Reuben Dawson led the way dominating tackles and scored the lions share of the goals. Gareth Akpomeza picked up MOM with a dynamic performance using his speed and strength to get a bag full of goals, resembling a brick wall at times.

The second MOM was Teddy Simmonds who managed to get his first ever goal today which we are all over the moon about! Big well done to you you man.

We are back in action this Thursday at Chester nomads.
