Llay Miners Welfare FC is a community club at its core, proudly representing Llay and the surrounding area. Built on the villageโs mining heritage, the club has always stood for hard work, togetherness and looking after its own. Those values still matter today โ on the pitch, on the touchline and behind the scenes. Our 1st Team competes in the Ardal North West, while our Reserves play in the NEWFA
Reserve League. Two senior sides, one club, giving local players a place to develop, compete and wear the badge with pride. Run by volunteers and backed by loyal supporters, families and sponsors, the Welfare is about more than results on a Saturday. Itโs about belonging, opportunity and doing things the right way. This club has been here for generations and, with the support of the community, will be here for many more.
