February and March have been incredibly busy months for the club, kicking off with the Welsh Novice Championships followed by our home show at Llantwit Major Rugby Club.

We had four boxers representing us in the championships — Jacob Robinson, Oscar Malak, Kyrylo Kadyrov and Hugo Overton — all of whom delivered outstanding performances. Hugo proudly brought home a bronze medal, while Jacob was unfortunate to be on the wrong end of a contentious split decision in his final, earning a well-deserved silver. On another day, any one of the four could have topped their category — a testament to their effort, skill, and determination.

Our home show on March 12th brought together clubs from across South Wales, including strong support from our neighbours in Barry, creating a fantastic and electric atmosphere.

We had seven boxers in action, including several exhibition bouts, featuring Jesse Morgan, Josh Lord and Ben Sloper.
Our competitive bouts kicked off with Jenson Goodfellow who showed clear improvement and was unlucky to miss out on a win in a very close contest. There were impressive victories for Oscar Malak, who weathered a fierce early onslaught before forcing a stoppage in the final round, and Jacob Robinson, who edged a tightly contested bout via split decision.
Performance of the night went to Kyrylo Kadyrov, who delivered a true masterclass to secure a unanimous decision victory.

A huge thank you to Llantwit Major Rugby Club for hosting us once again, and to all the spectators who came out in their numbers to sell out the venue and create such an incredible atmosphere.
