Bo and Willow have gone to Golden Castle Riding Stables, and are doing a fantastic job there!

Look who I went to see today! They are both very happy and we all had fun over a few jumps this morning (especially Bo)!

I am both sad and pleased to say that all our ponies have now found wonderful new homes. It is really sad to see them go, but every one of them has gone to a fantastic home that will suit them really well and where they will receive lots of love and great care.

Our younger horses are back from their winter holidays on the family farm in Sussex. Looking forward to bringing them back into work ready to find them some fab new homes this summer! From left to right - Rumour (Alan), Poppy, Daisy, Electra and Barley.

Velvet is settling into her new home really well. Sad to see her go, but I have a feeling she's going to be spoiled rotten by her new owners - couldn't happen to a nicer horse!

So I promised some photo's and here's two great ones I have found of Harri playing over some jumps on Billi and Velvet - taken in the field next to the Llanthony Riding yard last week. Happy times. Bryony

Can you believe it's the 31st March already! Spring has sprung in Llanthony, the daffodils are out all along the lane and we can thank our lucky stars that the sunshine has dried the fields (a little) enough to welcome our horses home. I feel a little reminiscent as this would have been the first weekend of the season and so we feel sad not to have had you all visiting us or to have your bookings set for the Easter Holidays to come. However, we cannot dwell upon the past and I thought you would like a positive update on all things new:
Today the last but one lorry load of returning horses will bring back Lady, Saira, Murphy and Sparks to fill our fields again with happy horses. :-)
Seren and Troy have already been snapped up by the loveliest of new owners and will be enjoying their springtime in their new homes - we wish them the VERY best of luck and are so happy that they've found such great homes to go to.
Tom has been away working but will soon be back with Oscar for the Easter Holidays (no doubt to count his chickens and see how many new chicks have emerged in his absence).
With Harri and Jonny's wedding to look forward to Easter weekend, and many friends and family here for that, we have an action packed April ahead of us. Including the exciting (and a little heart squeezing) task of selling our gorgeous, loyal and trusted herd. We will be posting on here and our website in a couple of weeks the who's who and what's what of who is for sale so if anyone is interested please do get in touch then.
Take care, and I'll get some photo's up soon I promise.

Founder of Llanthony Riding and Trekking, Ray Smith. Photo thanks to his granddaughter Lynda, seen in the pic as a small girl. Without Lynda, her brother Andy, father Tony and grandfather, there would have never been the fantastic opportunity for the Passmores to grow up and then take the reins on such a brilliant adventure. Thank you Smith family for your part in our lives.
