Skye has delivered a lot of liquid sunshine the past couple of weeks, luckily though for the busiest week of the season some real sunshine appeared. Me, .coast.mtn.guides & have been out with Glenn, Imogen, Jonny, Dave & John enjoying the brilliant weather this last week!

Lots of classics enjoyed including Cuillin Ridge Traverse’s, The Dubh Slabs, Pinnacle Ridge & Clach Glas - Blaven to name a few!

Matt was out with Alan last week making the most of the mixed weather high up! A day climbing classic rock on the Cioch, Spar cave and Elgol cragging followed by surprisingly dry rock at Neist after heavy rain and sea level cloud!

A brilliant week out with Neil and Paul, staying surprisingly dry despite the terrible forecast!

We made the most of the only dry, clear day on the ridge, enjoying classics including Kings Chimney (don’t mention the lost cam 🤣) and the Inn Pin.

The other days involved missions to find dry rock and hide from the rain, including an abseil into Spar Cave and a jumar out at high tide, followed by sunny cragging at Elgol. We also did some skills work and boot climbing at Neist before tackling some trickier routes in the afternoon sun. There were plenty of .coffee stops and some movement coaching at the wall too.

The guys came for a non-climber’s traverse of the Cuillin, but left as rock climbers — really cool to see such a big progression and the psyche so high for climbing by the end of the week!

Great craic teaming up with .coast.mtn.guides, who was out with returning client Alan!
