Game day 7 results.

1st XI
The first XI kept up their good form with a great win against Tata Steel Cricket club winning by 6 wickets. The bowlers again did the damage bowling Tata out for 120. James Taube was the pick of the bowlers with 4 and the remaining wickets shared between the others

Dylan de Villiers 72* and James Taube 30 steadied the innings and got us to the target in 26 overs. We head into week 8 at the top of the table with a big game against Skewen (2nd place) at home next Saturday.

2nd XI
The second XI claimed a significant and much needed win against Gorseinon 2nd XI with the game going down to the last ball. Rhydian Soady-Jackson scoring 74 in a total of 161. He was supported by Richard Clement with 31. Gorseinon started well but the introduction of spin from Ioan Roberts and Bav Patel slowed down the innings. This led to a grandstand finish. Gorseinon needed 22 off the last 2 overs and all results were possible. Needing 2 off the last ball Alun Thomas took an excellent catch and the Seconds won by 1 run!

3rd XI

The 3rd XI came up against a good Ammanford 3rds side. Matthew Thomas was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for 41 runs. After losing two early wickets Oliver Jones (45) scored quickly, Jamie Hodson (25) and Alan Warner (29) tried to keep up with the rate however the team fell short on 165 and lost by 66 runs.
