April is the start of the Crown Green bowling season. Anyone interested in playing Crown Green Bowls in the Llanfyllin area are more than welcome to come along to the Llanfyllin bowling green to have a try at the game. whether you have played before or are a complete beginner, male or female, young or not so young you will be welcome. We have the bowls (also known as woods), so all you need is to come along with flat shoes or trainers and see what it is all about. Monday practice nights for the summer session are from April through to September with our first practice night on Monday 13th April at 7 PM. Llanfyllin Crown Green bowling club is located on Llwyn Road at the Brook Street side of the Llanfyllin High School site and if you would like more details please contact Tony Birch 07484 809329

I think the bowling green is calling us this morning. However, due to the COVID19 restrictions in Wales we will have to wait.

Due to COVID19, the Llanfyllin Crown Green Bowling club will not be holding it’s normal Monday night practice evenings and there will not be any league games for the foreseeable future.

On Thursday 6th June we had a non league game with our neighbours from Welshpool. A relaxed and enjoyable evening was had by all.
