So it’s been a little while since I’ve been active on here.
I took some time out for me.
Things got heavy.. health, work and just overall management of life.
Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to get back up.
The only way I could do this was to take some time out for myself, I was working too much and having a break from Bootcamps and limiting my Personal training clients along with working full time in pharmacy was the only time I could get back for me.
I took myself out of my comfort zone and went back to my gym at Live Life Light where I was inspired to become a personal trainer over 14 years ago. I knew out of everyone Adam would be able to help give me the kick up the ass I needed to get back to myself again.
So this was not done with a quick fix.. and I don’t say that lightly, I have pushed myself and trained extremely hard managing my nutrition over the past year.
Joining transformations challenges back to back at Live life light loving every second of taking part in them and because I know if you put in the work and remain consistent the results will follow.
They did, losing over 5 stone within a year I finally feel like myself again.
My pain improved with the exercise and movement along with my mental health and all other factors that contributed to feeling rubbish about myself have disappeared.
It wasn’t easy and I felt very uncomfortable, frustrated and vulnerable to go back to the beginning again knowing I have the knowledge and skill of what I needed to do.
I had to really push myself out of my comfort zone and if the past year has taught me anything it’s this
- you have to make time and show up for yourself
- don’t be too proud to ask for help
- you can start over as many times as you need just don’t give up!
-don’t feel sorry for yourself, it just escalates and wastes your time.
-don’t wait to be motivated, create the motivation yourself.
I will be starting my Bootcamps and opening my Personal Training spaces again very soon 🔥💪🏼
