Absolutely fantastic day of football at the Gower Galaxy festival today for both U9s and U12s!

U9s were yet again amazing winning 3 out of the 4 games played accompanied by some excellent football, effort and enthusiasm!

U12s showing everyone just how far they’ve come since the start of the season! Won 2, Drew 2 and lost only 1 games and were 2 goals away from qualifying for the semi-finals!

Nice touch to finish off with medals presented to the girls by a Welsh women’s international player too, fair play to Gower 👏

Plenty of goals, smiles and memories made - season 2025/26 signed off - it’s been a blast!⚽️

🏆🥳CELEBRATION & PRESENTATION TIME🥳🏆

With the season of 2025/26 over, it’s time to show appreciation and celebrate it and recognise the achievements these young girls have accomplished.

⚽️UNDER 13s⚽️

What another great season these girls have had! These girls really are a great little team and the fact that not only have they won the League, but have won it back-to-back is great testament to these girls attitude and determination. These girls have everything they need to keep being successful and with guidance from their great coaches - this is the only outcome I see for them.

What’s more is these girls have the opportunity to make history within the club if they stay together and keep doing what they’re doing by becoming the first youth/women’s team the club has had. I would absolutely love to see this and am backing the girls to make this happen!

🏆🥳CELEBRATION & PRESENTATION TIME🥳🏆

With the season of 2025/26 over, it’s time to show appreciation and celebrate it and recognise the achievements these young girls have accomplished.

⚽️UNDER 12s⚽️

With the girls only having one season behind them before hitting competitive football, this season was always going to be tough and that’s exactly how it started. However even during these tough times, the girls reached the quarter finals of the WWWGL U12s Plate and finished off the season in very good form and put in a number of strong performances, once again showing that the best lessons are learned in the toughest of times.

This group has also welcomed new players and it must be said each player has been made to feel very welcome by the girls and they have been great additions to what is a strengthening team!

🏆🥳CELEBRATION & PRESENTATION TIME🥳🏆

With the season of 2025/26 over, it’s time to show appreciation and celebrate it and recognise the achievements these young girls have accomplished.

⚽️UNDER 9s⚽️

These girls still playing non-competitive football, have still enjoyed great success on and off the pitch with individual and team development and welcoming new team members - these girls wave goodbye to 5 aside with a great season and long-term friendships made and have been a credit to themselves, their parents, the coaches and the club!

They are a great group of girls who work tirelessly in training and are always smiling and enjoying the game they love. They’ve got some testing times ahead with the new format of playing, but I’m more than confident the girls will adapts and develope over the coming season and certainly can’t wait to see how that unfolds for them.

🏆Camford Girls U13s - Champions🏆

Camford u13 girls have once again been crowned West Wales Divisional League Champions. Despite a late postponement of their last game against Pontarddulais, results in the other games meant that the team secured the title with one game to spare.

A run of 10 games unbeaten proved to be integral to the success in a highly competitive division, where in the end, only two points separated the top 3 teams. The girls finished with 10 wins, 2 draws and just 2 losses and were able to enjoy their final game against a strong Bont side.

Massive congratulations to the players and coaches and credit to all of the teams in the league who made every effort to play football in the right spirit throughout the season

Under 12s - Season 2025/26 - Complete!

Sunday April 19th - Away to Johnstown

Johnstown 5 - 2 Camford

It wasn’t the result we wanted or deserved for that matter! The development this team has gone through this season has been nothing short of brilliant! We travelled to the now champions of the division, knowing that we could in a better display than when the fixture was reserved - and that’s exactly why they did!

The game throughout remained competitive and fairly even with both sides creating chances all game! The weather was good, the game was good and the football from both sides even better. It’s been a challenging season… especially tough at the start… but the girls have definitely learned and risen above those challenges!

Congratulations to Johnstown on the league win and a great campaign 👏👏

⚽️ Sunday 12th April - UNDER 12s ⚽️

CKSV 2 - 2 Camford

CKSV started the quicker in the opening 5 minutes applying early pressure on our back line, but our girls stood strong. After their initial pressure, Camford started turning the tide on the half, gaining more control, playing more fluidly and creating plenty of chances. The breakthrough finally came when Isla Kenny slotted a lovely free kick into the bottom corner. CKSV replied within a minute when a goal-area scramble led to one their players tapping home from close range. Just before the half-time whistle Isabella put us 2-1 up after capitalising from a corner which led to her putting it in from close range.

Credit to CKSV they came out of the traps flying in the second half, creating chances of their own. The pressure told this time with CKSV scoring from a long goal kick downfield despite the best of efforts from Jaidah in goals. The majority of the match played out with Camford on top and CKSV having spells of possession and some chances - but the games finished 2-2 after an entertaining and competitive game.
