10 years ago today, on the final morning of my teacher training in India, our teacher Deepa took us onto the rooftop at sunrise for our last practice together.

After that I planned to return home to open a yoga studio...
And in just under a month Yoga House turns 10!

Over the years the additional trainings I chose focused deeply on functional anatomy and biomechanics. I mainly teach movement, so I wanted to understand the body to support anybody walking through our doors as best I could.

But that first training in India, steeped in knowledge from the roots of yoga, was extra special.
