Pre season is here!!!

Pre season starts Tuesday 30th June where we will be training every Tuesday and Thursday down the zoo 6pm start!

It's no secret we are looking to get a reserve team going after folding a year ago. If you fancy it...get down the zoo and give it a go and bring a friend if you like. The more the merrier

We are always looking for new and old faces to join the Tigers. We are not only looking for players to start up our reserve team but we are looking for first team players to play also and compete for positions!

We are also having a kick around the zoo Saturday 27th down the zoo 1-2pm before presentation night which will be all ball and a game to ease back into pre season. Everyone welcome

The Trallwm Tigers AFC proudly celebrates its 60th Anniversary on Friday 4th September at the Bryn & Trallwm club which marks six decades of football, passion, and community spirit. Although we would love to open our doors to everybody this special event is exclusive to only those who has played a part in the club's journey over the years, whether as a past or present player, coach, committee member, volunteer, sponsor, or supporter working behind the scenes. Together, we will celebrate the people, memories, and achievements that have made Trallwm Tigers AFC the club it is today. We look forward to welcoming familiar faces from across the generations for an unforgettable evening of reminiscing, reconnecting, and celebrating 60 years of Trallwm Tigers AFC.

Wanted!
1st team manager - The core of the committee boys have shared this responsibility for the last couple of years but we feel it's time for a fresh pair of eyes to come in and take our 1st team squad and instill their style of football at the club.

Goalkeeper - For years and years the tigers have never had an established out and out goalkeeper. Again this responsibility has been shared out between a couple of players who want to play in their own position but continue to do the club a favour. Between sauce, wrighty and Bert the boys done a cracking job in goal but it's time for us to nail down a goalkeeper we have needed for many years

Players - We are looking for 1st and 2nd team players to join the Tigers and get us back up the table and also to start our 2nd team again. We have a brilliant core group of lads and we are looking to welcome new and old players to the club.

As the season comes to an end, everyone at Trallwm tigers would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has played a part this year.

To our supporters on the line — thank you for backing us week in, week out, through every high and low. Your support means everything to the club. Special mention to our home the Bryn and trallwm club for putting up the boys after everyone game Kate Nurse and all the staff there.🧡

To the players — thank you for your commitment, hard work, and passion every time you stepped onto the pitch and play for that badge. Special mention to Jared Peake and Paul Wright on their speedy recovery through injury who continuously put their body's on the line and play with such guys and passion.🧡

To our under 12s - Thank you for setting up a junior section with our club to bring these young tigers through the ranks and one day play in our senior team. Superb effort Christopher Chappell 🧡

To all the committee members , coaches, volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes — thank you for the countless hours and effort that keep the club running. Without you, none of this would be possible. We are proud of what we’ve achieved together this season despite the uphill battle we faced. At one point we were about to call it a day but we weathered the storm. We stuck together shoulder to shoulder and kept this magnificent club running and now thriving more than ever.

We are having a well earned break now and details will follow next week for pre season for players wanting to join this amazing club and community...so keep your eyes peeled. We could well be having 2 teams next year with boys wanting to sign 👀

Cup final at stebo Vrs Llandovery
Match abandoned at 3-1 down due to player injury

First off congratulations to Llandovery on your cup final last night and the better team won. We had a solid first half but just couldn't get started in the second half. To say we are gutted is an understatement but more for our player welfare than the loss itself. Not to take anything away from llandovery they came out hungry in the second half and it showed so congratulations to you.

To have this happen once to one of your players once in a season is gutting but for it to happen twice within a month is mind blowing.

Special mention to Paul Wright who puts his body on the line every single time and last night was just a complete freak accident (again!) and we as a club are absolutely devastated about the accident. Rest up kid x🧡

We may have lost last night but we are absolutely proud of every single one of our players throughout the season. Everyone written us off in the cup, nobody expected us to pick up the wins we did to get to the final and we can hold our heads up high and be proud we have a club still running. It was very touch and go beginning of the season, turning up to pre season friendlies with barely 12 players and trying to scrape a team together and last night we managed to play in a final at stebo.

A well earned break for all the players and the lads who work quietly in the background to get things done to keep the club ticking over.

The trophy didn't come back to the zoo but all the boys came off that pitch as winners and should be proud of what they have achieved this season considering it looked like the writing was on the wall

Finally we have a date!

Our final against Llandovery Town will take place Tuesday 19th May

A massive moment for the club. Going from a handful of boys training and low morale to having to rotate the lads in our games in the league. We are determined more than ever to end or season on a high and bring a trophy back home to the zoo
