Late nights.

“Back to it in September.”

It can be tough, but you don’t need to be perfect through August.
-
You just need to keep showing up.
-
If you’re away, train when you can.
If you’re busy, do what you can.
If you miss a day, get back at it the next day or week!
-
Don’t let a change in routine become an excuse to stop completely.
-
Because the people who win aren’t the ones who are perfect all year. They’re the ones who keep moving when life gets in the way and just keep going!
-
Enjoy the summer, the holiday, the beers and food.

But don’t disappear. ☺️

AUGUST MEMBER OF THE MONTH — Daps from Welcome to the chaos of running a play area! 😂 🏆 C’monnnnnnn 🥳

Fair play… I’m not sure whats more nuts, Gem from Tiny Tots or my hair in this photo. 😂 Fringe is in Porthcawl , so I probably should’ve taken more than one photo, but there we are!

Anyway… this post is all about Gem. 😀🙌🏻

Gem first came to us on the recommendation of her sister and signed up for the 6 Week Challenge. She was a little bit worried about what she was letting herself in for… worried would she get the sessions even in as she was so busy but has absolutely smashed it.
-
Two sessions a week. Challenge completed. And rather than stopping there, Gem came on board as a full member and hasn’t missed a session since. 🔥
-
She’s getting stuck into strength sessions, chucking herself into conditioning, turning up to Run Club and generally throwing herself into everything we do.
-
And she is absolutely flying. 📈
-
She’s seeing some really positive changes, moving so much better, getting stronger and becoming more confident every week. It’s brilliant to watch how far she’s come, and I really hope she realises just how much progress she’s made already.
-
She’s also just class to have around the gym, always getting involved, always giving it a go, and bringing a great attitude every session. ❤️
-
Here’s to seeing just how much further you can go.

Member spotlight Jan Ohlsson☺️

- An overdue member spotlight post for Jan and is coming up to her first year of training at NUKE in October! Jan came to us after being referred by her good friend Non and since that day she stayed with us and is continuing her journey in the gym📈

- Jan works a demanding job as a teacher in a secondary school but knows the importance of having that balance of work life and personal life! When Jan is in, she brings such good energy into class, loves sharing stories, encourages other members and get on really well with us coaches🤩

- Since Jan started until now, I’m sure she would agree but we as a team have seen so many positives changes in Jans movement quality, physical changes and just feeling better day to day and that has come down to jans consistency in the gym🙌

- It’s so good to have you here with us Jan and you deserve all the credit you get! Keep working hard and stick to what you’re doing and the progress will keep coming😁

😞 Really didn’t want to have to post this, but please take a moment to look at some of these members involved. Tried to make light of it with a funny first picture but it’s just not acceptable and shouldn’t be happening so often at gyms ..

If you know any of them, please feel free to share this, tag them, or simply make them aware of what’s happened. 😩

As coaches, we work extremely hard on a weekly basis but to have this amount of members charged it does not look good on the gym .. so to see this happen is incredibly frustrating. 😩

Unfortunately I think this will continue to happen at NUKE FITNESS ..

Started on the NUKE 14 week plan .. and never left! 🥳

Added a tonne of muscle, fitness, entered so many events and made so many friends and wins along the way! 📈
-
One of the originals, a member favourite, sooooooo good with new starters and members and just an all round brilliant person to have here who also trains hard!!🤌🏻
-
Nervous, into the unknown, worried to start like many seeing this probably .. all that put to bed after just her first sessions and now loves it!
-
If you are in your late 30’s or 40’s and your stuck, in a rut or just need some guidance to help you see changes, we can probably help!
-
Last few spaces left of the 14 week plan for Sept 14th. That’s what Laura started all them years ago and now look at her!

Oh my God, here we go again! 😂 I must be nuts!!!

They tried it before… they lasted just five days in Albu ! Then, a couple of weeks ago, they dropped me a message: “Could we try Ibiza and try do six weeks there?” 😳
-
Already thinking, How am I going to do this on my own? But they’re only young once, and they’ve got to give it a go and of course I said yes!
-
They’ve just arrived, and I really hope they last longer than five days this time! 😂 But they deserve the experience, working in a nice cafe in the day and bar in the night, making memories and enjoying themselves. Cant fault it boys!! 🕺🏻

Before they went, Rhodz was worried about missing leg day, I said dont worry you have missed them weekly for a few months so few more weeks won’t do any harm .. he said “yes you are right thanks Lukey”

And then Cam was worrying if 16kg luggage was enough for his wax and hair spray, he felt this was going to be a “disaster” in his own words .. but we quickly worked out he has a small bag also to take on the plane so that panic is all sorted now! 😀

As you can see, they’re enjoying their first night. 🍻☀️

I hope it all goes brilliantly for them but already missing them.

Our final 14 week plan of the year starts September 14th!🥳📈
-
We have one set session on Tuesdays at 6:15pm, and then you can choose from 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week from our timetable, depending on what works best for you.
-
And if, for any reason, you can’t make the Tuesday evening session, don’t worry! We can help you find another session that suits you.
-
We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 6 ladies per group, so you get plenty of support, guidance and attention throughout.
-
If you’re interested, just drop us a DM and we’ll send you all the information.

You can also book a call or arrange a tour of the gym, and we can go through everything with you and answer any questions you may have. 😀

Stop Thinking. Start Moving.

These are just some of the reasons people have been giving us lately for why they haven’t started the gym.

“I don’t know where to start.”
