FLYING THE FLAG FOR DAFEN!

Another brilliant weekend for Theo and Ollie, representing Carmarthenshire Schools U7s up in Aberystwyth on Sunday.

The boys and their team went unbeaten all day, with both Theo and Ollie getting themselves on the scoresheet too!

It’s fantastic to see two of our Dafen U7s enjoying their football and representing Carmarthenshire together. We couldn’t be prouder of them both!

💙 WHAT A START FOR OUR U12s! 💙

Dafen U12s got their 2026/27 league campaign off to a flying start last nigh with a fantastic win against Garden Village at Dafen Park.

Some brilliant football on display, plenty of goals and, most importantly, a great team performance from the boys. A really strong way to start the new season!

And after what feels like the longest, driest summer ever, it was actually quite nice to see a bit of rain falling at Dafen Park again… although we’ll probably regret saying that by November! 😂

Well done boys, three points on the board and a brilliant start to the year!

💙 WHAT A START FOR OUR U12s! 💙

Dafen U12s got their 2026/27 league campaign off to a flying start tonight with a fantastic 13–1 win against Garden Village at Dafen Park.

Some brilliant football on display, plenty of goals and, most importantly, a great team performance from the boys. A really strong way to start the new season!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the Dafen AFC Juniors Football Festival on Sunday!

We genuinely couldn’t be prouder of how the day came together. From all of our fantastic teams and visiting clubs, to the coaches, volunteers, referees, vendors, sponsors and everyone working behind the scenes, you all played a part in making it such a brilliant day of grassroots football.

Most importantly, seeing so many youngsters out on the pitches enjoying their football is exactly what the day was all about. 💙

We’re delighted to announce The New Thomas Arms as the official U10s sponsor for this year’s Dafen AFC Juniors Football Festival!

A well-known Llanelli venue with almost 200 years of local history, The New Thomas Arms has recently been completely refurbished and offers a hotel, restaurant, bar and large function room right in the heart of Llanelli.

Their 1829 Restaurant serves dishes using fresh Welsh produce, while the function room caters for everything from weddings and parties to celebrations, conferences and community events.

A huge congratulations to our brilliant U8s player Jazz Pearce, who today had the fantastic opportunity to represent Llanelli Town Academy at the FAW National Academi U8s ‘Season Launcher’ Festival at Dragon Park.

What an experience for Jazz, taking part in a National event alongside some of the best young players from across Wales.

It’s always fantastic to see our young Bluebirds getting opportunities like this and continuing their development beyond Dafen.
