Happy retirement to James Harris who has decided to hang ip his boots after a great career with Glamorgan and Middlesex. James began playing with Pontarddulais Cricket Club and represented the league from an early age.

Wales ACO is running a free Introduction to Scoring course for juniors under 18 at Vale Cricket Club on 31st January.
It’s a one day session covering:
• Play Cricket Scoring app
• Umpires’ signals
• Junior formats (incl. pairs)

Funeral details for Ieuan Williams.

Ieuan

Peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday 26th November, at his home at Glasfryn Road, Pontarddulais, Ieuan.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Ian, Philip, Diane and the late Mel, respected father in law of June, Andrea and Frances, cherished Grampa of Lynsey, Stephen, Mark, Andrew, Matthew, Jac and Michael, Great-Grampa to be and dear brother to Edwin and the late Nan and Idris.

Ieuan will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral on Friday 16th January, service at Llanelli Crematorium at 2.00pm.

Family flowers only. The league are saddened by the news of the passing of Ieuan Williams. He was one of the founder members present at first meeting way back in 1972. A great supporter of cricket he would often be seen during our finals week in Pontarddulais. Condolences to Phil, Ian, Diane & families

The funeral for Eric Lewis, Life-Member, Auditor and former Chairman will take place at 2pm on Wednesday 10th December at Salem Chapel, Llangennech and afterwards at the Bridge in Llangennech.

The junior league are saddened by the news of the sudden passing of former Chairman, Auditor and life member Eric Lewis of Llangennech CC. A great servant to the league, Llangennech CC and the SWCA. He will be greatly missed.

All clubs are reminded that where they have two teams in a competition they should have sent in their squads to Matthew Griffiths and entered them on play cricket prior to the season starting. Clubs not complying by Monday 12 May will have fines back dated to start of the season
