The 1st XI welcome Gowerton CC to Stradey Park for another local derby clash, while the 2nd XI make the trip to face Llandysul CC.

🏏 Weekend Results

Unfortunately, the weather got the better of both teams again this weekend, with both matches ending in abandonment 🌧️

The 1st XI bowled first against Llangennech CC, with the visitors reaching 195/3 from 36 overs before the rain rolled in at Stradey Park.

The 2nd XI also took to the field in difficult, wet conditions, bowling Pontarddulais CC out for 188 from their 36 overs. In reply, Llanelli had reached 38/2 from 11 overs before the rain arrived and brought the game to an end.

A frustrating weekend once again, but fingers crossed for better weather and a full round of cricket next Saturday 🤞💙

The teams are in for this Saturday’s season openers 🙌

After a strong preseason, the lads are ready to get the campaign underway with both sides in action against Skewen Cricket CLUB.

🏏 1st XI (H) vs Skewen CC 1st XI - 1pm start.

🏏 2nd XI (A) vs Skewen CC 2nd XI - 1pm start at Skewen CC Memorial Park (SA10 6DP).

🍻 The clubhouse will also be back open, so come down, enjoy the cricket, and support the boys from the sidelines.

🏏 Preseason Complete

A blustery evening at Stradey Park brought our final preseason fixture to a close. A big thank you to Felinfoel Cricket Club for making the short trip — a good game played in the right spirit, and we wish you all the best for the season ahead.

There were some pleasing performances as the side continued to build momentum. With the bat, Iwan Rees (42 Ret. Not out), Jac Rees (38) and Owain Downs (26) all made valuable contributions, while the wickets were shared around nicely with the ball.

Another solid run-out and just what was needed ahead of the real action this weekend.
