💔 Blake Samurai West Thomas 💔
Two weeks ago, I received the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of my Zumba students, Blake. He was just 14 years old and had been attending my classes with his family for quite some time.
Blake was truly the highlight of my classes. During one of our favourite songs, he would always take off his shirt and wave it in the air for the "Helicoptero" part, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around him. He remembered the choreography even after long breaks and would often help his mum by teaching her the moves.
In the little time we knew each other, Blake taught me so much. He showed me that there are no limits, that we are all equal on the dance floor, and that happiness can be found in the simplest moments. He also reminded me of the importance of loving and cherishing our families. The love and care he had for his family were clear for everyone to see.
I will miss him dearly, but I feel incredibly honoured to have known him and shared so many wonderful moments with him.
My deepest condolences go out to Blake's family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful young man with us. Please know that he touched the hearts of so many people and will always be remembered with love and affection.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.🥺🫂
Blake, thank you for the joy, energy, and lessons you brought into our lives.
Until we meet again, we will dance together once more. 💙🕊️
Rest in peace, Blake. You will never be forgotten. 💔
