Fancy climbing with some friendly faces? 👀

Starting every Wednesday evening, Women on the Wall is a casual space for women to come along, climb, chat and encourage each other, whether you’re brand new to bouldering or already sending hard! 💪

✨ Come on your own or bring a friend
The centre is still open to everyone as usual, this is simply a chance to have some familiar faces around if you fancy climbing with other women. 💕

It's the first official post summer meet at the Boathouse Climbing Centre.

As always a pleasure to host, and for this session we are offering a free cuppa and a biscuit per person!

Date: 08/09/2026 (TODAY!!)
Location: Boathouse Climbing Centre
Time: 7pm Onwards

Dangling Dads: 'A gathering place where Dads come together to climb, chat, and share in the joys and challenges of fatherhood. Our meet-ups provide a safe and supportive environment for all, with a particular focus on fathers.'

The Boathouse is of course open to everyone as usual from 15:30pm - 22:00pm.

New Tuesday Evening Schedule

We have some new Tuesday evening sessions coming your way! See the second picture for all of the dates.

MCI Skills Workshop — Coming Soon
Peer-led discussions, practical advice and hands-on practice.
Our centre has bolts, anchors, an abseil platform and practice gear placements, giving you the perfect space to work on your skills. Use the centre to practise anchor building, rescues, MCI pathway hints and tips, and much more.

Movement Coaching — Starting 22/09/26
Feeling like your climbing has plateaued?
Small adjustments to your technique can make a massive difference to your overall performance. Our movement coaching sessions are designed to help you identify those little changes and become a more efficient, confident climber.

Technical Rope Work — Starting 29/09/26
Want to become a more independent climber? Then this is the session for you.
We can cover everything from rethreading anchors and lead belaying to rescues. If it involves rope work, bring your questions along. Our qualified and knowledgeable instructors are here to help you build your skills and confidence.

Come along, ask questions, practise your skills and take your climbing to the next level!

💛Do you Home Educate?
We work in partnership with Plant Home Education Support providing climbing experiences for children from 5 years through to teens.

The range of sessions focus on physical development and working in partnership with others. All sessions are led by an instructor and follow a basic structure which allows each individual to develop at their own pace. Our sessions are split according to age.

Wednesday's starting 9th September 2026, from 9:30am.
Booking is essential, direct through Plant.
Taster sessions are available so families can make an informed decision before signing up to the programme.

We’re excited to welcome Conwy Monkeys Climbing Club back to the Boathouse on Thursday 3rd September! 🧗‍♀️💙

A friendly, inclusive club for children and young people aged 6–17 with ASD, ADHD and other additional needs, supporting confidence, physical development and socialisation through climbing.
