Tomorrow night is the final of the penybont womens cup, it will be contested between the hosts Penybont Utd FC vs Berriew Development FC, this game contained plenty of goals last year so should be a great watch for the fans

Tea hut will be open so come along and enjoy some grassroots football

U14’s End of Season tournament!

After losing the first game, the girls responded brilliantly and grew into the tournament with every match! 👏

A strong 4-0 win over Penrhyn followed, before an unlucky 0-0 draw against Llani after hitting the bar and creating loads of chances, and were denied time after time by some great saves from their keeper. The girls were really unlucky not to come away with the win!

The girls finished the tournament as runners up and were absolutely buzzing with their medals! 🥈💙

🏅End of season festival at Welshpool🏅

Our U8’s and U12’s went to Welshpool last week to participate in the end of season festival! Unfortunately slightly lower numbers than usual as it was a bank holiday weekend but the players who went had a great time, thank you Welshpool for hosting!

At the same time our U6’s were invited to a festival with the boys U6’s at Oxford Road! Thanks for inviting us, we all had great fun!!

U8’s played some brilliant football against Llanidloes and Llandod boys u6’s!! Great to see such great numbers!!

U10’s once again the girls played some really exciting football!! It’s great to see this age group really start playing so well together!!

U12’s had two teams and both did excellent!! Both teams played some excellent football, scored some great goals and worked so well together!!

U14’s vs Berriew

U14’s showed real resilience this week. A slow start saw us go 4-0 down at half time, and the game finished 5-0, but the second half was a completely different story with great effort and determination throughout.

Huge credit to the five U12s who stepped up. They were outstanding and more than held their own. Big saves from Georgia kept us battling, and there were plenty of positives to take moving forward.

Players of the match go to Lois and Lily B who is an U12 stepping up!!
