GWIRFODDOLWR Y TYMOR 💐

Hoffai'r clwb ymestyn ddiolch enfawr i Ruth James am ei hymroddiad anhygoel i'r clwb. Mae Ruth wedi bod yn gyson ar ochr y cae, yn darparu te a choffi a chacennau i'n cefnogwyr yn Felinfach a Llanrhystud, a'r tu ôl i'r llenni trwy ddarparu brechdanau i'n chwaraewyr ar ôl pob gêm gartref. Heb Ruth, byddai'r clwb mewn sefyllfa llawer gwaeth ac ni allwn ddiolch digon iddi am ei ymroddiad anhygoel.

The club would like to say a huge thank you to our very own Ruth James for her incredible commitment to the club. Ruth has been a constant on the sidelines, providing teas and coffees and cakes to our supporters in Felinfach and Llanrhystud, and behind the scenes providing sandwiches to our senior players after every home match. Without Ruth, the club would be significantly worse off and we cannot thank her enough for her incredible work.

Chairman Edryd Evans and First Team Manager Llew Davies presented Ruth with her Volunteer of the Season award along with a bouquet of flowers at Saturday's club dinner – the least she deserves!

Diolch am popeth Ruth, the very best of the Felinfach and Dyffryn Aeron community 👏

NOSON WOBRYO TIMAU DYNION 🏆

The senior teams celebrated another great season with our Annual Club Dinner at Gwesty Feathers Hotel on Saturday night. It was a brilliant evening filled with fun, food and plenty of trophies for the club’s senior players, coaches, supporters and sponsors.

The award winners were as follows, presented by Chairman Edryd Evans and the teams’ respective managers and coaches:

DYRCHAFIAD I TIER 4 👏

CPD Felinfach are delighted to confirm that we have won promotion to the Mid Wales League South in Tier 4 of the Cymru football pyramid ahead of the 2026/27 season.

After yet another strong season in the Ceredigion League, our young and hungry home-grown squad is excited for new challenges against fresh opponents. Those challenges include a number of competitive local derbies, meetings with prestigious clubs, as well as plenty of exciting away trips.

We would like to take this opportunity to state our sincere gratitude to the Ceredigion Football League for its continued support, guidance and cooperation. As a club, we are extremely appreciative of the opportunities provided to us within Tier 5 and its various competitions, and our Reserve teams are committed to representing the club and contributing to a thriving Ceredigion League.

Everyone at Y Felin has unwavering ambition to progress, develop and raise the standard of football within the club and our local Dyffryn Aeron community. We see this promotion as a hard-earned and well-deserved milestone in that journey, and we are committed to meeting the expectations and standards required.

ENILLWYR CWPAN IEUENCTID ETO 🏆

Ar nos Lun gwlyb yn Ffostrasol, enillodd bois Felinfach eu pedwerydd Cwpan Ieuenctid Ceredigion yn olynol gyda buddugoliaeth drawiadol o 3-1 yn erbyn Llambed. Oedd yn berfformiad gwych o'r cefn i'r blaen gan y bois, gyda goliau Krzysztof Dolniak a Rhys Williams yn gwneud y gwahaniaeth. Camp arall gwych i grŵp arbennig, y clwb ac ein adrain iau, a'r gymuned.

On a soaking Monday night in Ffostrasol, the Felinfach boys won their fourth successive Ceredigion Youth Cup title with an impressive 3-1 win against local rivals Lampeter. The boys put in a top performance from back to front, with goals from Krzysztof Dolniak and Rhys Williams making the difference. Another fantastic achievement for a special group of boys, the club and its junio section, and the local community.

CANLYNIAD TORCALONNUS 💔

The Firsts ended their 2025/26 season with a heartbreaking 2-2 draw against Crymych.

It was the match that would decide the title: a win for either side would clinch a first-ever Division 1 triumph for both clubs, while a draw would present Llechryd the chance to pinch it at the death.

Played out in front of a bumper crowd, the hosts started much the brighter side with a number of attacking flurries. Their early pressure payed off when topscorer Rhodri George stretched into space and finished excellently from outside the box into the far corner.

Y Felin settled somewhat after that and got back on level terms when Steff Williams coolly despacthed a penalty after Steff Evans was bundled over in the box. Straight after, a deflected Josh Davies shot bounced off the post to deny the boys a go-ahead goal just before half time.

Momentum swung both ways to begin the second half before Crymych worked the ball through to Mckenzie McDonald, who finished across goal, just after the hour mark. The boys kept battling and found and important equaliser with less than 10 minutes to spare when Aled Davies flicked in a Steff Evans shot.

With Crymych's resolve broken, the boys created a number of chances with wave after wave of attacks within the space of five minutes – getting in behind and working shooting opportunities – but just couldn't find the killer finish to clinch the title. Once the final whistle went, the pitch descended into deathly silence.

Llongyfarchiadau to Llechryd Football Club on a deserved Division 1 title, and credit must be paid to all three clubs for such a highly-competitive and nail-biting season that went to the wire.

🤝 DIOLCHIADAU

Diolch enfawr i CPD Crymych FC for their welcome, organisation and hospitality in the Crymych Arms on a day that promised a title but only provided a fantastic game of football. Da iawn i nhw am y tymor, a pob lwc am y dyfodol.

Diolch enfawr to the hoards of Felinfach fans that travelled down from Dyffryn Aeron to support the boys. We're gutted we couldn't get the job done, but everyone at the club is proud of the support we always got at home and on the road.

Everyone should be proud of their efforts. The boys will now enjoy a well-deserved break after over 10 months of hard work and Y Felin will be back, bigger and better 👏
