🔥 Fire Marshal Training at One of Edinburgh’s Most Iconic Locations 🔥
Today, Vital Signs Scotland had the privilege of delivering a regulated Fire Marshal training course at the historic Greyfriars Kirk in the heart of Edinburgh.
Surrounded by centuries of history, delegates gained the knowledge and practical understanding required to help maintain fire safety within their organisation, including:
✅ Understanding fire hazards and risks
✅ Fire prevention measures
✅ Emergency evacuation procedures
✅ The role and responsibilities of a Fire Marshal
✅ Practical use of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment
Fire safety is a legal responsibility for every organisation, and having trained Fire Marshals is an essential part of protecting people, property, and business continuity.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to an engaging and interactive day.
If your organisation requires Fire Marshal, Fire Safety Awareness, or workplace compliance training, we'd be delighted to help.

A last-minute call to Edinburgh today to deliver an Evacuation Chair Training course, and what a venue it turned out to be.

With stunning views across the city, including the iconic Scott Monument, Edinburgh Castle, and the historic skyline of Scotland's capital, it has to be one of the most impressive training rooms we've had the pleasure of working in.

Of course, while the scenery was spectacular, the focus of the day was on ensuring staff had the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to safely evacuate mobility-impaired persons during an emergency.

Evacuation chair training is about far more than compliance. It's about preparedness, inclusion, and ensuring that everyone can be evacuated safely when every second counts.

A huge thank you to today's delegates for their enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the course.

Need Evacuation Chair Training for your organisation? Vital Signs Scotland delivers practical, hands-on training across Scotland at your premises or chosen venue.

Situations like this highlight the importance of working with a training provider that has the experience, flexibility, and professional network to ensure your training goes ahead when you need it most.

At Vital Signs Scotland, we understand that cancelled courses can disrupt operations, impact compliance, and create unnecessary stress. That's why we always do our utmost to ensure our clients receive the service they expect, even when the unexpected happens.

Today's mission: helping staff gain the knowledge and practical skills required to safely use evacuation chairs during emergency situations.

Need reliable First Aid, Fire Safety, Evacuation Chair, Mental Health First Aid, or Health & Safety training? We're here to help.
