'Steve, I feel like every weekend, I'm ruining everything we are doing!' 😫

'I just don't feel like my clothes fit like I want them to' 😢

'I feel like I've always been the big one in my friendship group' 😔

I think I received this feedback every week with Simona - even after her losing 50lbs (or 20% of her entire body!)

You see, Simona loves a cocktail, a toastie, and weirdly a Double Decker chocolate bar (what an absolutely awful favourite chocolate to have) 🤣🤣🤣

For Simona, these treats are the bits of time for her in between running after her 3 kids and husband, working for a popular hotel brand and coming to the gym.

For Simona, it was important to keep in these moments for her while identifying what foods were holding her back. Add in a progressive science backed training program and some daily goals outside of the gym and she's absolutely smashed it!

So many people have good intentions when it comes to starting again but it's so much harder and longer on your own.

'I'll go to the gym 4 times a week'

'I won't eat carbs'

'I'll follow X thing that worked for me years ago'

But rarely does this work out.

Life is too busy. Work gets too stressful.

'I'll start again on Monday' becomes 'I'll start again next month'.

And by the time 6 months have gone by, you've gone backwards.

OR

You start your regime, hardly eat anything and go to the gym 5-6 times a week.

You give up alcohol, chocolate and crisps.

It starts well, you see some progress but then this gets slower and slower leading to 'what's the point' until you give up.

When I was 17 I asked a girl out. She said no because I was too fat.

That day, I went to the shop and bought a Men's Fitness magazine so I could lose weight and win her over.

(I soon realised she was just a shallow person).

But this encounter enabled a love for this fitness stuff I have become super thankful for.

6 months ago Megan decided to put the foot on the gas...

Since then she's 22lbs down, 2 jeans sizes down, stronger, fitter and absolutely smashing it!

All this while having nights out, meals, birthday celebrations and PNEUMONIA!
