Sometimes, the biggest difference we can make starts with simply coming together.

As Knightsridge Primary School welcomes its new Headteacher, Ms McLaren, we continue building stronger links across our community and creating opportunities that support children, young people and families.

With this positive community working relationship with the school, you will see us during term time delivering various programmes and working alongside Vennie Knightsridge Vennie United Community Football Club Vennie food outlet and Knightsridge community garden, bringing together youth work, sport, play, cycling, environmental projects, football programmes and positive interventions.

Our focus is on supporting the whole person through key pillars:

These three pillars will sit at the heart of what we do. Creating meaningful opportunities for people to learn, connect, participate and develop.

This is about more than individual projects.
It’s about having a clear purpose, investing in people and strengthening Knightsridge as a whole, as one!

It’s that time of year again, S4 work experience is approaching and we’ve already had requests come in!
Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate everyone and there is a limited number of intake left available but if you’re interested in exploring the different career opportunities within sport, you can find us on Work It, or ask your high school to help you submit a request.

End of Summer BBQ! ☀️🍔

Join The Vennie, Vennie United Community Football Club and us for one last hurrah before the hustle and bustle of heading back to school.

We're inviting all of our summer service users, parents, children and families to come along for a relaxed day at the end of summer celebrations. with a Vennie BBQ, fun and the chance to catch up with friends before the summer comes to an end.

Girls free Intro to Fitness Summer Camp 💪

🗓️ Day 2 was off to a flying start at Deer Park Golf & Country Club!

The girls continued building on yesterday's work with circuits, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises. This foundation is essential before introducing weights, helping everyone develop good technique while allowing us to identify and adapt for any injuries or mobility limitations.

🏋️ Yesterday's session was all about becoming comfortable in a gym environment. The girls learned gym safety and etiquette, including spatial awareness, cleaning and tidying up after themselves, and how to use equipment safely and confidently.

🚴 They then got stuck into a cardio circuit on the gym machines before finishing the session with some sports conditioning.
We're looking forward to another great few days ahead! 💪
