🔴⚽️🔵 MATCH PREVIEW | MURIESTON REDS 2012

The lads came away with a convincing win the last time we faced Leith Athletic, but we know this weekend will be another challenge.

If last week's result taught us anything, it's that we cannot afford to be complacent. Hard work, focus and the right attitude are essential if we want the results to keep coming.

Respect the opposition, trust the process and put in the work. 💪

🔴⚽️🔵 MATCH REPORT | MURIESTON REDS 2012

A slow start today saw us go 2-0 behind, but we quickly changed formation and showed great character to fight our way back into the game.

The second half brought more fight and determination from the lads. While we were pleased to pull it back, we really should have been out of sight had we been more clinical in front of goal.

Plenty of positives to take, but also plenty to work on!

Back on the road next week. We go again! 💪⚽️

🔴🔵 MATCH REPORT 🔵🔴

A tough day at the office for the lads today.

We weren’t at it from the get-go, and Lochend capitalised with three quick-fire goals in the first half, leaving us with plenty to do.

The second half brought plenty of positives, though. The boys created loads of chances, showed more attacking intent and could easily have added a few more goals to the tally. ⚽️💪

Credit to Lochend, who were the better team today and proved to be a real threat all over the pitch.

We take the positives from the second half, learn from the things we need to improve and get back to work this week.

Heads up, work hard and we go again next week!

🏆 SCOTTISH CUP – ROUND 2 | MATCH REPORT 🏆

What a performance from the lads today! 🔴🔵

With a depleted squad and only two substitutes, the boys made the rainy trip down to face Division 1 opposition in Dunbar, knowing it was always going to be a tough afternoon.

We started brilliantly and controlled the opening 15 minutes, but a moment of switching off at the back saw Dunbar take a 1–0 lead.

Rather than letting that knock us, the lads kept their heads in the game and responded brilliantly, scoring two quick-fire goals to turn the game around and take the lead into half time. 💪⚽️⚽️

Dunbar came out strongly in the second half and put us under plenty of pressure. They threw everything at the boys, but the lads dug deep, defended brilliantly and held on.

Credit to Dunbar United, they never stopped pushing and made us work right until the final whistle. 👏

But today belongs to the boys.

Through to the Scottish Cup 3rd Round! 🏆🔥
