✨ An incredible milestone and a massive thank you! ✨

Last night, we were honored to be part of the … 200th QUIZ … hosted by David Paterson at Platform 3 in Linlithgow.

Over the last 20 years, David’s incredible dedication has raised more than £55,000 for charitable causes, and we are truly grateful The Ootsider was chosen as last night's recipient.

A massive thank you to David, the staff at Platform 3, the teams, and everyone who came out to support and raise £352 on the night! Amazing 💜

🧥🧥 100% of these funds will go directly toward making our Sleeping Coats for Rough Sleepers🧥🧥

Together we can achieve so much more. John.

Mission accomplished! 🧥⚽️.

I popped into World of Football this morning to drop off the final batch of coats for the Hibernian Community Foundation Parkinson’s Walking Football Team. Now, the whole squad—Coach Neil included—is officially kitted out in The Ootsider.

Huge thanks to Erin, Katie, and everyone at this amazing organisation, and a special shoutout to Ged for bringing this partnership to life.

Next stop: Glasgow! Wishing the team the absolute best of luck in the Walking Football Scotland Scottish Cup Tournament this Saturday.

Hundreds of players. Dozens of teams. One unforgettable day of competition and festival football at Glasgow Green Football Centre.

C’mon guys … bring it home 🙌🔥

Summer might be just around the corner… but Scottish weather is still doing its own thing 🌤️🌧️😂

The days may be warm, but the evenings can still get chilly. Whether it’s late beach walks, campsite chats, outdoor swims or sitting around a fire pit with friends, an Ootsider has you covered for those cooler summer moments.

Handmade in Scotland and built for Scottish weather. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

From your un**es with Molke to your outies with The Ootsider - we make them in Scotland because we care about quality.

Keeping production in Scotland is about keeping our eye on everything we make. You can know our products are made to last because we care about where they come from. We want you to love what you buy from us, that's one of the reasons why made in Scotland means so much to us.

Overlaid text at the start reads "Just two business founders making cool stuff in Scotland and talking about it."]

After the sunny bank holiday weekend, the work in our workshop continues. ☀️

Every Ootsider coat is still being carefully handmade in Scotland by our amazing master seamstress Toni (), with the same attention to detail, warmth and care stitched into every piece.

Because Scottish weather always likes to keep us humble!

And for every 2 coats sold, we make and donate 1 sleeping coat to someone experiencing rough sleeping across the UK.

If you’d like to support our mission, you can also donate directly through our website. Every contribution helps us create more Sleeping Coats for people who need them most. ❤️

Thanks to the Hibernian Community walking football team for becoming part of the incredible Ootsider community.

Each one of these coats was handmade with love and care by our amazing master seamstress, Toni.

Because Ootsider has never just been about coats.
It’s about people, community, and creating something inclusive for all. 💜

Durable material. Really comfortable. And easy to fasten. 🙌

Stuart kindly agreed to share his thoughts on his new Ootsider adaptive coat, and we’re so happy to hear his feedback has been all positive.

Our adaptive coats are designed to make getting outdoors feel easier, warmer, and more comfortable, especially for people who struggle with traditional zips or fastenings. The magnetic fastening option can help make a big difference while still keeping you protected from the Scottish weather. 🌧️

At The Ootsider, we believe the outdoors should be accessible to everyone.

If fastening standard coats has become difficult for you or someone you know, the adaptive Ootsider might be the answer.
Please feel free to get in touch for more information. 💜

Last week we were part of an amazing walking football tournament held at the World of Football in Edinburgh. ⚽️

The tournament is a brilliant collaboration between , and World of Football, bringing people together through sport, community and movement.

There were 3 teams visiting from Glasgow and 1 team from Edinburgh, creating such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. 🙌

We also delivered 8 Ootsider coats to the Hibernian Community Foundation team, and it was such a joy seeing the team wearing them. 💜

Keep an eye on our social media for more videos and images coming soon! 📸✨

Our latest blog post is now live. ✍️

This one feels deeply personal.

After hearing Simon Squibb speak about his experience with homelessness, loss, and rebuilding his life from nothing, it left us reflecting on something much bigger:

How much human potential is currently being lost simply because people are stuck in survival mode?

At The Ootsider, this is something we think about often through our work supporting people experiencing rough sleeping across the UK.

We’d genuinely love for you to give it a read and share your thoughts. ❤️

The idea for The Ootsider x Molke hats came from simply wanting to create something together.

But this collaboration became so much more than that. It’s also a brilliant way to reduce fabric waste from Molke while doing something positive for The Ootsider rough sleeping community.

For every hat sold on Molke’s website, Molke donates £5 to The Ootsider to help support our mission. ✨

And as Kirsty says… now you can have matching bra, pants and a hat! 😁

So what are you waiting for? Go grab yourself a new hat! 😊

You can now shop the Ootsider x Molke hats through both and .official websites.✨
