We’re excited to announce the open day for our Goalkeeping Academy on Monday 08/06 — and best of all, it’s completely free to attend. This session is a fantastic opportunity for young goalkeepers of all abilities to come along, enjoy the experience, and develop their skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
Throughout the session, we’ll be focusing on all the key basics and fundamentals of goalkeeping, including handling, footwork, positioning, shot stopping, communication, and distribution. Our aim is to help every goalkeeper build confidence, improve technique, and most importantly enjoy learning the game in a safe, fun, and supportive setting.
The session will be run by Cade Melrose who’s a professional goalkeeper for airdrie fc , bringing his experience and knowledge of the modern game to help inspire and coach the next generation of goalkeepers. Whether your child is completely new to goalkeeping or already playing regularly, everyone is welcome to come along, learn, and enjoy the day.
We look forward to seeing plenty of young goalkeepers there for what promises to be a brilliant session full of energy, learning, and enjoyment.
