Some expected results tonight but for me the Irish beating the 5th ranked team in the world Portugal was my stand out performance, especially when everyone had written Ireland off leading up to the game, myself included I must admit.

Ronaldo showed the world again what an absolute petculant child he is with his unprovoked disgraceful elbow into O'Shea's back in the off the ball incident.

Newcastle have agreed to sell Alexander Isak to Liverpool for a fee in the region of £125 - medical pending.( As reported by myself on Aug 12th )

Mark Guehi is also expected to join Liverpool before the end of transfer deadline day for a fee in the region of £35 m.

What a cracking game at Anfield to kick off the 25/26 season.
Bournemouth deserved to at least get a draw,but what a way for Liverpool to show why they're defending champions.

A beautiful but sad moment at the end watching Mo Salah well up whilst applauding the Liverpool fans singing in memory of Doigo Jota.

Manchester United are facing a possible investigation over PSR breeches as they continue to spend in the summer transfer window.

This comes in light of the club having spent over £200 m on new signings so far with the possibility of more to come before deadline day.
The main issue for the possible investigation is due to the club's previous public announcement
that they needed a cash injection of £270m from Sir Jim Radcliffe last December to prevent them from going into receivership........

Meanwhile Aston Villa, Newcastle Utd,Everton & Nottingham Forest
are also under the spotlight along With the newly promoted side's Burnley,Leeds Utd & Sunderland
Who will be under tighter limits.
