Training Dump, because it’s been pretty dam good lately 💪

Love being able to push my body hard.

📷 Even doing a lil bit of cardio (love hate thing)

📷 In my home from home (love my gym family and support 🫶)

📷 The Pendulum (aka killer)

📷 High Incline Smith (always a tough one)

📷 DB RDLs (almost back to the 45’s)

📷 Leg Press (for the Quads)

📷 Pull-ups (a new fave)

📷 Chest Support Row (always gives me a hot flush this bastard 🥵)

📷 Leg Extensions (Not a leg day for me without them)

📷 Chest Press (New highs of 55kgs)

📷 RFE Split Squats (finally back in the plan, not gonna lie I fu***ng hate them)

📷 Adductors (Because I couldn’t think of anything worse than a thigh gap)

📷 Leg raises (It’s not all about the crunches)

📷 Selfie of course 🤣

I just want to be able to wipe my own arse when I’m old 🤣

That’s the goal now!

To stay strong, independent and be able to look after myself.

And if I can pull off a six-pack or a bicep selfie along the way I will 😜💪

Yeah I don’t enjoy protein shakes either but…

They really help me out!

And if you struggle to get enough protein in, but you don’t really like them, well, sometimes you just have to neck it and stop behaving like a kid who won’t eat her veggies 😂

That’s what I do.

And apparently it takes 4 seconds and it’s done 🙌

Not everything in life is enjoyable, but it could be a lot worse, you could be drinking a sheep’s a**s 😂🙊

She didn't decide that because summer was busy, there was no point.

And believe me… she had enough going on. 🤪

Festivals
Camping
Holidays abroad
Gigs
BBQs
Kids off school

I don't think there's anything she hasn't fitted in.

If there was a weekend available… something was booked in it. 😂

She was actually really nervous about summer because she had her goals and knew it was going to be hectic.

But instead of thinking...

“Well, that's summer fu**ed then.”

She just carried on.

She did what she could.

And she never decided it wasn't worth bothering.

And now we're looking at these photos...

She's still getting results.

Which I think is worth saying because I know so many women go into summer and just give up.

They can't get their heads around the fact that doing something is better than doing nothing.

When actually...

You can still make progress.

And to be honest, I'd much rather see this...

A woman making progress while actually living her life.

Than someone spending three months turning down every invitation because they're scared it'll ruin their diet.

Because you want to know what?

A clear run of three months where someone can stick to a rigid plan is easy.

It's much harder to make the plan work around you.

When life keeps getting in the way.

That's the skill.

Figuring out how to train when you've got something on.

How to eat reasonably when you're away.

How to enjoy yourself without thinking you've blown everything.

How to come back from a weekend away and just carry on.

That's real life.

She didn't throw the towel in.

She just got on with it.

And that was more than enough.

If you're sick of starting over, and want to finally make progress drop me a message, and let's get you started this September ❤️

MINI DIET: DAY 30

58.4kg last Monday → 60.9kg today.

Yep.

2.5kg heavier.

Am I bovvered though? 😂

NOPE.

I haven't trained for six days.

I've been at the caravan, which was always planned into this diet.

We ate some lovely meals.

Had a few drinks.

Ate out.

And basically enjoyed six days away.

So when I got home today, I deliberately took my weight and progress photos in the afternoon rather than doing what I normally do.

Usually I weigh first thing in the morning, fasted, before I've eaten or drunk anything.

But today, I’ve been travelling home.

Sat on my arse doing client work.

I'd already drunk loads.

And I'd had two meals.

So yes… I'm 60.9kg this afternoon and, I'm now heavier than when I started my diet. 😂

But look at the photos.

I deliberately took them at a completely different time of day because I wanted to show you the comparison.

My belly is fuller because I've eaten.

My legs felt swollen after the journey home and then sitting around even more.

If I’d weighed myself this morning I’d likely have been well under 60kgs.

Because it's NOT 2.5kg of body fat.

A large part of that increase will be water, food, glycogen and the normal fluctuations that come with changing your routine.

And that's exactly why I don't lose my s**t when the scales go up.

Tomorrow I'm back to my normal routine.

Training resumes and food goes back to normal.

And I'm pretty confident that the scales are going to look very different in a few days' time.

When I planned this diet, I knew I was potentially going to lose about 10 days because of this break.

So this week hasn't been a failure for me.

I went away for six days and enjoyed myself.

Now, I'm looking forward to getting back to normal ☺️

This girl has had one hell of a year. 🤍

And looking at these two photos, I don’t just see a physical transformation.

I see a woman who didn’t give up when life got difficult.

Kayleigh has been trying to finish her final year of midwifery, juggling uni, assignments, placements, night shifts, being a mum to two home-educated kids… and everything else that comes with life.

There have definitely been a few meltdowns along the way. 😂

And honestly, there were plenty of times when sticking to the plan felt like another thing on an already ridiculously long list.

But she didn’t throw the towel in.

She did what she could.

Some weeks were better than others.

Sometimes we had to adapt.

Sometimes the plan looked very different to what we’d originally intended.

But she kept coming back to it.

And now…

She’s done it.

Yesterday she delivered her 40th baby, and completed everything she needs to graduate as a midwife. 🥹❤️

And the photo on the right was taken at her graduation ball.

Just LOOK at her.

Absolutely bloody beaming. 🥹

Because this isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about learning how to look after yourself even when life is busy, stressful and a bit of a s**tshow.

You don’t need perfect circumstances to make progress.

You just need to keep going.

And Kayleigh, I couldn’t be more proud of you.

I know I joke and call you my little pocket rocket 🚀 but girl you live up to that 💯

40 babies delivered, last assignment passed, and one very well-deserved celebration. 🥂🤍

What a year.

You bloody did it 🙌

Can’t wait for the next chapter and the plans we have laid out for 2027 ✨

Want to get better at pull-ups? 👇

Pull-ups are a great example of why strength relative to bodyweight matters.

You’re not just trying to get stronger, you’re also having to move your own bodyweight every rep.

So two people can have very different pull-up abilities depending on their pulling strength, bodyweight, training history and individual build.

If you’re working towards your first pull-up or trying to increase your reps, focus on building your pulling strength:

Lat pulldowns - progressively increase the load as you get stronger.

Assisted pull-ups - practise the actual movement while gradually reducing the assistance.

Banded pull-ups - another way to practise the movement with some assistance.

Deficit pull-ups - increase the range of motion and challenge your pulling strength.

And yes, being lighter can make pull-ups easier, because there’s less bodyweight to move.

But that doesn’t mean you need to lose weight to improve your pull-ups.

You can absolutely get better by getting stronger.

Save this if pull-ups are something you’re working on.

I’ve been coaching women nearly 16 years, helping them get stronger, lose body fat and feel confident in the gym.

If you want help just message me ❤️💪
