Ever thought about playing tennis but didn’t know where to start? Back by popular demand, The Barclays Big Tennis Weekend is the perfect chance to pick up a racket and join in the fun – no experience needed!

Junior Coaching is Back!
We’re excited to announce that junior coaching is returning to Mersey Bowmen after a long break!

Starting 14th June, coaching sessions will be led by Zach, bringing energy, fun, and expert tennis guidance for the next generation of players.

Kids Tennis Camp at Mersey Bowmen Tennis Club!

Looking for a fun and active way to keep the kids entertained this holiday? Join us at Mersey Bowmen Tennis Club for our exciting Kids Tennis Camp!

Designed for all levels, the camp includes coaching tennis basics as well as plenty of games, activities, and fun – all tennis-themed! It’s the perfect blend of learning and play in a safe, friendly environment.

Details:
• Fully supervised camp sessions
• A 45-minute lunch break each day – don’t forget to bring a packed lunch
• Children should bring their own tennis racquet
• Open to kids of all abilities

🎾MERSEY BOWMEN SUMMER TOURNAMENT🎾 Over the month of September we held our club’s annual summer tennis tournament, an internal tournament which allows our members to have a bit of fun playing each other competitively. Which we can safely say once again was an absolute smash hit! 🙌 Over 100 of our members came together to compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles over an incredible 4 weeks of nonstop action! 🏆✨

It was amazing to see everyone give their all and enjoy the camaraderie that makes our club so special. 💪🏼🎉

A huge thank you to all who organised, played, supported, and made this tournament a fantastic success. And big congrats to all our tournament winners. Just a few snaps of finals day! Here’s to many more memorable moments at MB🎾❤️

And just like that summer league has come to an end! And what a season it’s been! Mersey Bowmen entered 9 teams this year. 4 women’s and 5 men’s. Over 100 of our members played for us in the men’s and women’s leagues, some trying their hand at competitive tennis for the first time and loving it!

We are thrilled to announce that our Men’s B team has secured promotion from the B Division to the A Division! For the first time in our history, we’ll have TWO men’s teams competing in the top division—an incredible achievement!

But that’s not all—our Men’s C team and Men’s D team also triumphed, each winning promotion and showcasing the depth of talent we have here at Mersey Bowmen.

On the Women’s side, our A team has proudly held their place in the A Division, while our B team secured their spot in the B Division. It was fantastic to see our Women’s C team competing alongside the B team in the same division, highlighting the strength and depth of women’s tennis at our club.

A massive congratulations to all our captains for their outstanding leadership, and a huge thank you to everyone involved in all of our teams. Your hard work and dedication have made this season one to remember. Here’s to continued success at Mersey Bowmen Tennis Club 🎉 Bring on winter league 💪🏼
