We do a range of classes for university students (only) including beginners/advanced-intermediate pole and hoop classes. We are one of Liverpool University's BIGGEST performing arts society !! All places must be pre-booked! Members: £5 per class

Pole dancers perform acrobatic tricks, maybe even death-defying tricks by climbing, suspending their weight or propelling it around a metal pole. Our Pole Dance Society enables you to learn and/or share spins, climbs, transitions and inverts with fellow members in a safe and fun environment. Stop creating roadblocks - you don’t need to be a gymnast, coordinated or be able to lift your own body weight – you just need enthusiasm. There was no competition for the role the moment everyone cheered 🙌🙌 her name at last year’s APS ball 🥂🪩 Her house is infamous for their pole at pres and if you come early to socials be ready to hear her name be shouted across the house because if someone needs help, she’s on it. “LADDDDIESSSS” is going to be the first thing you hear coming out of Ellie’s mouth when she sees you at socials 🥂 Somehow she always ends up dressed as a boy 🤙 no matter the social theme (we hope this continues next year)

Now a retired social sec, Ellie is a true social butterfly who always made the effort to get to know everyone and be in the know 🕵️ Because of these skills, natural confidence and ability to force everyone to play games at pres, we know she will be a Vice President of the people 🫡 and help carry out Sammy’s vision to take to APS great places 🥇😈

Our social sec girly Harriet will continue on committee this year ‼️😜 After a year of stressing at every social making sure everyone was in the right place and getting games sorted, little miss organisation 🥸 will go far in her new role as secretary 😘

Everyone loves Harriet because she is the bestie that will stand up and argue back at annoying men 👏👏 Round of applause honestly. And the cure to a resolving her stress at the start of socials we discovered was… Go for it in games!! 😉🥂 She put in hard work to get the games sorted so seeing everyone willingly get eggs cracked on their head will cheer her up 🤩We can only hope Mia and Polly will take this same pleasure for freshers going for it this year x

Much awaited second half of our social sec duo is Polly 😈😈 Her pole class attendance is abysmal BUT social attendance? it’s never missed (maybe fashionably late tho) 😌 Don’t mention ‘irish bar’ and ‘quadvod’ in a mile radius of her because they are her trigger words and she will come running 🏃‍♀️

Despite Polly being forced to socials by Mia, they both made their claim for social secs early on and definately will not dissapoint this year 😘😘 we can’t wait for another year of fun 🤩

Mia makes up one out of two unstoppable social secs 🎉 rarely seen without our other social sec Polly they were born for FUN, spending all their student loans on nights out and forcing everybody to have the best night 😉 Mia has 10/10 attendance at socials, conquering first place with Abby at challenges social and never fails to amaze with theme costumes 👯‍♀️ Never seen at a social not extremely drunk, she somehow has enough consciousness to get everyone else on the same level as her (WATCH OUT FRESH 😜😜)

Estella will never be caught lacking without her iphone camera or digi cam at any event. Her worst flaw is she will take a picture even at the worst possible moment. Eg when Tilly lost her ID at socials for three consecutive weeks in a row, everyone else searched high and low to help her, but Estella? she was busy taking great content! 😌📸

At socials she is always talking to someone new and will beg everyone to end the social in Black Rabbit. In class? she laughs too hard for someone who confidently gets every spin wrong in some way and would rather slam headfirst on the mat than do a controlled landing.

Amelia never fails to rock up to a social with her signature pack of four Vodka Cranberry coop canned cocktails 🍸 despite the fact she can’t keep her vodka down. She takes very little convincing to go on a night out which never fails to make Estella happy 😆 And that long luscious locks? yeah her hair is constantly getting caught in aerial hoop classes.
