WOMEN BADMINTON PLAYERS– WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU! 💚

Fancy getting back into badminton, playing competitively, meeting new people and having a laugh along the way?

The Crosby Cobras Badminton Club are looking for women with some badminton experience to join our newly forming 3rd team, competing in the Southport League 6th Division!

You don’t need to be a pro – we’re looking for players who:
-Have some badminton experience
-Are keen to improve
-Want to play competitive matches
-Enjoy being part of a friendly team

League matches start in September!
Membership is just £90 per year, which includes: ✅ Wednesday club nights, 7–9pm
✅ Badminton England membership & player insurance
✅ Southport League affiliation & match eligibility
✅ All ages welcome!

Whether you’re returning to badminton after a break or looking to take your game to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!

A huge well done to our most recent players of the match (we even have a new hat for our winners 🤣🐍)

Tom and Jack put up an incredible fight in their game on the 24th, so much that we couldn’t pick just one player of the match 💚

Ste played some incredible games stepping up for the first team when we had some player illness! Not only is this his first competitive season, but he played a nail biter of a men’s game against Churchtown 5 💚

And last night player of the match, Jane! Jane was awarded Cobra of the Match for an amazing performance in both her mixed and ladies games against opposition who put up a good fight against, however Jane came out on top winning both her games 💚

Keep up the good work team! Go Cobras 🐍💚

🏸 Crosby Cobras 2 – Match Update! 🐍

Our new second team kicked off the season in style on Wednesday with an incredible 6–2 victory against Southport 5! 🎉

Under our new captain Donny, the Cobras showed fantastic teamwork and determination. Donny not only led the squad, but also secured Player of the Match after a nail-biting men’s doubles win alongside partner James – what a performance! 💪

🎉 8-0 Victory for Crosby Cobras 1! 🏸💪

What a way to kick off the season! Last Wednesday, Crosby Cobras 1 came out swinging and secured a massive 8-0 Win against Westsands 4 in our opening match!
