What a weekend!
Yesterday was our final charity netball tournament for the 2026 season to raise funds for the Mark Edwards Foundation.
After already hosting 124 junior teams over 3 events in June, yesterday was the turn for the seniors. We welcomed 26 senior teams from all over the Northwest to show case not only some incredible netball ability, but also the comradery and generosity that comes with a team sport like ours.
It was a brilliant day, and I couldn’t be prouder for the people who I am fortunate enough to surround myself to make something like this happen. Volunteering really is something special, doing it with your friends creates memories that last a lifetime & contributes to the local community in so many positive ways.
At grass roots level, it just shows how much demand there is for people to play netball and this is barely scratching the surface.

£8000 (and rising) raised in 2026 for a charity so close to the hearts of our club.
