Some days become memories before they’ve even ended… 🤍

Beginning with a long yoga flow and meditation by the pool, followed by a yummy breakfast brunch, time in the thermal pool and a little sunbathing before heading out for the afternoon.

A beautiful wander through the botanical gardens Giardini La Mortella, followed by a classical concert that brought tears of pure joy.

A magical sunset, dancing, laughter, fabulous food and then the most hysterical journey home, being serenaded all the way back by our taxi driver singing away on top form that even cured one of the lady’s travel sickness! 😂🇮🇹

One of those days that reminded me just how precious life is.

The people, the places, the laughter, the unexpected moments… these are the things we carry with us.

Memories that will last forever.

We are making tomorrow’s memories today.

Some much-needed downtime and self-care before the retreat begins.

A gorgeous massage yesterday, a private yoga session on the terrace this morning, incredible food from some of my absolute favourite places, and time simply to rest and take it all in.

Forever grateful for everything that has brought me to where I am today.

Life is always changing. Enjoy each precious moment, here & now.

It’s the only place where life exists.

A little availability update 🤍

As I head into a very busy three-month retreat season and teacher training, I’m taking some essential downtime beforehand so I can arrive rested, present and ready for the months ahead.

I’m very serious about protecting my own work-life balance, not just talking about it with others.

Life is not meant to be constant go, go, go.

Rest, space and time away from work, tech and multiple communications are just as important as the periods when we are busy and giving our energy to others.

For me, this is part of practising what I preach and making sure I move into the retreat season feeling grounded, energised and able to give my best to those who are joining me.

I’ll be stepping away from messages and retreat enquiries tonight, Friday 4 September and finalising the Sicily retreat tomorrow.

If there is anything urgent or essential that genuinely needs my attention before then, please send it through today.

After that, replies will be picked up when I’m back online, but please expect some delays throughout retreat season.

A really special few days in London. ✨

I had such a lovely weekend catching up with Lin and Noeleen, including a fabulous meal at Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant Daphne’s in Chelsea, which was absolutely gorgeous. It’s always a pleasure to spend time with these two incredible ladies. We all met on one of my Santorini retreats, and the friendships have continued. 🥰

My hotel also surprised me with an upgrade to a top-floor executive suite, which was a very lovely bonus. So quiet and spacious, and the perfect balance to the outer busyness of central London!

And then the main reason for the trip… spending the day learning from Gregg Braden for the Pure Human: The Hidden Truth of Our Divinity, Power & Destiny workshop.

He was absolutely fantastic.

So much fascinating information around the heart, brain, nervous system, human potential and the connection between science and ancient wisdom.

I came away with pages of notes, lots to reflect on and plenty that I’m excited to begin incorporating and embodying more deeply in my own life.

By chance, I also got to bump into Gregg and have my book signed, which made the day even more special. 💫🫶💫

There’s so much from the workshop that I know will gradually find its way into the work I already share too, bringing some fresh ideas and a new flavour to my upcoming retreats and practices. Our conversations are gonna get so much more interesting!

Feeling very grateful for a brilliant few days, lots of inspiration and plenty to take home with me.

I highly recommend his latest book 📕 Pure Human, however be warned, it may challenge your current belief system, so keep an open mind and an open heart.

Off to London for something I’ve been looking forward to for a very long time… a live event with Gregg Braden ✨🤩✨

For those who haven’t come across Gregg before, he’s an international bestselling author, scientist, researcher and speaker whose work brings together modern science, human biology and ancient wisdom traditions to explore our extraordinary human potential.

His work looks at the connection between the heart, brain and nervous system, intuition, resilience and self-regulation, and the abilities we already possess as human beings. His work has also been a massive inspiration in both my own work and my personal healing journey.

This resonates so deeply with the work I share through yoga, mindfulness and nervous system regulation, and I’m always excited to keep learning, exploring and deepening my own knowledge.

Looking forward to an inspiring day and bringing some fresh insights and renewed vitality home with me, perfectly timed before my upcoming Ischia, Sicily and Liverpool retreats.

What does luxury mean to you? ✨🤔✨

The dictionary describes luxury as “a state of great comfort or elegance.”

But I think luxury can mean something different to each of us.

For me, luxury isn’t necessarily five-star hotels, designer labels or having the most expensive of everything.

Luxury is having everything taken care of.

It’s having space to breathe and nowhere you need to rush to.
The freedom to simply be. Beautiful surroundings.
Delicious, good-quality food. Authentic experiences.
Being welcomed so warmly that you feel more like family than a guest.

It’s slowing down enough to notice where you are, to enjoy the little things and to reconnect with yourself.
To experience that sense of peace that can be so difficult to find in everyday life.

And that’s the kind of luxury you’ll find on my retreats.

Not extravagance for the sake of it, but beautiful places, genuine warmth, quality, care, space and time.

And perhaps, in the busy world we live in, time, space, freedom and peace are some of the greatest luxuries of all. 🤍💎🤍

I’m so excited, I’ve booked another yin yoga teacher training with the fantastic Kata van Doesselaar, and I can’t quite believe it’s been almost ten years since I first joined one of many of her trainings.

It’s funny how life comes full circle.

I’d already completed my 200-hour teacher training in India, but it wasn’t until I found yin yoga that something really shifted. At the time, I was still struggling with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I was searching for answers, the missing piece.

I had no idea that one decision would completely change the whole direction of my life.

It didn’t just transform my health. It changed how I see life, inspired me to teach and ultimately led me to create the retreats and experiences that have become such a huge part of my life today.

Looking back now, I can see that what once felt like one of the biggest challenges of my life became the catalyst for everything that followed. Without that chapter, I may never have discovered the magic that unfolded and the path to my life’s purpose.

Over the years, Kata’s teachings have been a constant source of inspiration throughout my journey of healing, growth and transformation.

Now I get to return, not because I’m searching for answers anymore, but because I want to experience it all again through different eyes. To look back with gratitude, reflect on just how far I’ve come, and spend time learning from someone who has played such an important part in that journey.

I have a feeling this one is going to be really special and I honestly cannot wait! 🤍🤩🤍
